Lofton had an excellent season in Turkish Basketball League which is one of the best professional league in Europe.
He made 13 three pointers in a game aganist Fenerbahce which team is aslo playin in euroleague(Erden's playing for fenerbahce, they have great players like Erden,Asik,Turkcan,Giricek,Solomon)
also he made 17 three pointers and 61 points in same game.it's unbeliavable performance, but 61 points not a record which is wrong information.Record is Erman Kunter's 153 points in a game !!!
He is a two guard in a point guard body.IMO,He's Eddie House with better ballhandling
if House opts out then he could be a good and cheap replacement

Id rather take that Erman Bloke to be honest. He must have some skills! (oh....and say his surname out loud....hehehehe)

lofton is a great shooter but i don't think he will ever be able to play reasonable minutes in the nba. he does not have the body and footwork required. by the way, erman kunter's 153 point game came up against a junior team, a team built of kids at the age of 15-17. still something, though.

153 points performance was about 20 years ago, defence word was undiscovered in basketball

If he has developed any point guard skills whatsoever he may be able to play in the NBA. He has also overcome some serious health problems, and he may be more athletic now that he is not playing with cancer (like he was in his senior season at UT)

From DraftExpress last season:

"To highlight just how much Lofton’s shot selection hurts him, we will cite some stats from Synergy Sports Technology, which has logged almost every game Lofton’s played this year. On spot-up jumpers where he’s unguarded, Lofton scores 1.58 points per possession. On spot-up jumpers where he’s guarded, Lofton scores 1.17 PPP. On jumpers off the dribble, he scores 0.84 PPP. But of all his jump shots, only approximately 21% of them are unguarded spot-up jumpers. Looking at these numbers, its clear Lofton could be a much more efficient player with better shot selection."

although later on he is compared to Allan Ray (shudders)... hmm, well if he is getting open looks here with the starts that would be ideal for him, but that's not going to happen, he could develop into an eddie house clone, but he doesn't have the lightening quick release, I can't find measurements, but it sounds like he has no length whatsoever, I'm saying he's just camp fodder so we can have a summer league squad.
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

I hope they make a few other pick ups like him for summer league, we could have an entertaining squad

Bill Walker is going to go nuts on the SL this time round

Look forward to seeing what Lofton can do

There are a lot of videos of him on youtube. Looks like he could be a nice guy to have off from the bench, if he can be consistent. You can never have too many shooters.

I watched this kid a lot in college.

He graduated from the Othella Harrington / Terrence Morris School of Watch-Me-Incredibly-Manage-To-Get-Worse-Each-Year-In-College.

If he had progressed rather than regressed, he would have been a 1st rounder. Maybe it took some time overseas to take his game to the next level.

Didn't know about the cancer. Maybe that had something to do with it.

As a junior he looked like the real deal, he is definitely capable of being the next Eddie House and hell he can actually dribble with both hands.
