No Courtney Lee went three spots later to Orlando...

In this edition of a Re-Draft the RealGM Sixers fans unanimously chose Courtney lee 3 spots earlier. Yes you are correct Courtney Lee was drafted 3 spots lower in the 08 draft. So at this point... We still would have chose JJ despite Courtney Lee being picked.

On a Sidenote... I'm not a hater, the kid was good for a rookie but I think people are hyping him way too much. I see Boobie 2.0 written all over Courtney Lee. I hope he proves me wrong (Not really for the sake of my fellow Cavs' fans) but I doubt it

Wanted Courtney Lee then and I would take him over JJ in a heartbeat.

Lee is not who beat the Cavs in that Orlando series. The Cavs could not adjust to the Magic perimeter players esp Lewis, Hedo, and Pietrus and Dwight walked all over our bigs. I would pick JJ again. We all knew he was a 2-3 year project when the Cavs picked him as a freshman coming out of NC State. It's not like this draft is brimming over with big men. At least the Cavs can find a swing player or guard in the 09 draft.

I'm fine with JJ. I think he will turn out to be a solid starting PF which is great value for where he was picked.

Courtney Lee... Although, I don't think Mike Brown would give him any minutes playing behind Mo, West, Gibson, etc.

What knucklehead picked Mbah Moute?

I don't think some of you understand the point behind a redraft. After a player has been picked in that redraft, you can not pick them again, they aren't available (regardless of whether they were picked later in the draft).

I might have to go with Hibbert. He didn't have a great rookie season but it's so hard to get that kind of size. Even with a mediocre rookie campaign he is an upgrade defensively from Z or Varejao.

EDIT: Ooops, Hibbert is gone. I'd probably go with Koufos then.

Thank goodness someone finally said it. Look at the OP post people, see who is gone and see who is still there. JJ, Hibbert, Koufos, etc are still there. Lee is not.

I'd still take Hickson.

We need youth in our frontcourt.
