I'm sure he has a player in mind. Now remember when a guy worth mle is out there, danny offers it. Remember maggette? and others. And KG's contract was set up to dip down this year so they can afford a full mle player.

He won't offer somebody worth 5 million the mle, he will offer it to a guy worth 6-15m that is taking mle because of lack of economy, or wants better team and wants to win.

What we SHOULD be talking about is who that player is?

Sheed? getting up in years, hot head, would he come off bench?

Standing pat is a bad idea. You have to be looking to improve all the time like your opposition. Both Orlando and Cleveland have improved since the teams championship - and so have the Lakers.

This roster PLUS a few key additions in FA and small trades could be dominant. But as is this team is contender level, certainly not dominant though.
