OT: My 2000th post
OK, after I post this I will be one post short of 2000, 1999 for those inept at math. I remember at the time of last year's draft I was near 1000 and I vowed to announce our #3 pick with that post. When we selected OJ Mayo I proudly posted.."With the 3rd pick in the 2008 NBA Draft, we select OJ Mayo" only to have him later traded away and that post wasted...or was it? The deal netted us Kevin Love and Mike Miller along with dumping some of our own garbage. Now the jury is still out on who won(maybe both won) this trade and I don't want to get into that really because that's not the purpose of this thread. I was happy with the result of last year's draft(after a couple weeks of convincing).
So I think I'm going to sit out Realgm until we make our pick and then announce it with my 2000th post. Everyone take it easy and I'll talk to you again on Draft Night(who's making the draft thread?). Until then, peace..

It was a good effort.

Take over the world?
I know this admission will cause me to lose multiple cool points, if I still have any, but I never got into Pinky and The Brain, but since then I've become obsessed with watching them because most people loved it. I need to start downloading old episodes.

That's interesting, because I avoid Lost, Heroes, and other questionable sounding programs because so many people talk them up constantly. I'll wait until they get cancelled and they're all on DVD before I check them out. Better that way.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Watch Breaking Bad, it's the best show on TV right now by far.

Breaking Bad, huh. Sounds like it should be a documentary about the McHale years on the TWolves.

I don't currently have tv so I can't watch anything, but in my past I've never gotten into a show when it's been first run during prime time. I hated or just didn't watch Friends, That 70's Show, and The Simpsons until they started showing re-runs at the 5-7 time block or late at night on cable. Now I love all three. Not so much Friends, it's gotten old, but I dream of owning the That 70's Show DVDs.
I made a good faith effort to watch Heroes from the start, but about 4 episodes in I started getting too busy to set time aside. And I didn't have DVR. I've never seen an episode of Lost.
Entourage is one I'm curious about.

Entourage is extremely entertaining. Friends has always grated on me, I can't stand any of the actors, with the possible exception of Cox, since she starred in the terribly underrated Masters of the Universe movie with Dolph Lundgren and Frank Langella in the 1980's.

Dolph Lundgren is a beast.
Always Sunny In Philadelphia is perhaps my favorite show ever.

Re: OT: My 2000th post
Masters of the Universe was my favorite movie for like a month. I'd watch it twice a day on HBO/Showtime for a month straight. I did the same with Howard the Duck.

For some reason, it makes me uncomfortable when you make a Clockwork Orange reference...

Devilz=Malcom McDowell
You should have saved a post to start a Hinrich for Cardinal/Madsen thread on the trade board. That way you could have been entertained by Leto until the draft.

oh come on. Friends is so **** awesome. I've got all seasons now and I can't stop watching it. probably one of the best sitcoms. Aniston and Cox were really hot in their primes. oh and Chandler is probably the one person on TV I resemble the most.
