Stoudemire was cleared to begin exercising today for the first time since a Feb. 20 surgery to repair his detached retina.

Hopefully he can get back into shape. Not working on anything specifically. But if you can't run and jump and do things then it is hard to stay in shape. You can eat right and manage your weight but it will be hard to keep in good shape.

Maybe someone could clarify was Amare aloud to ride a stationary bike?

to trade him, thats just dumb.

Fans and the press wanted to make it sound like Amare was done and this injury was really bad. It is a freak injury, but the dude is coming back again. He is going to go off this year.

Oh thank god.
I've heard some sources say "he should be ready by training camp." Seeing as Amare is defined by his offseason work ethic and that he is always in better shape than his opponents, it would be devistating if he had to wait that long, I was thinking he'd be back for the season in horrible shape. I believe that Amare will have a GREAT season next year.

He really needs to work on the defensive end instead of being lazy. If we pull a Shaq-->NO for Chandler + Posey-->PHX then we would be really fast. Chandler would be fast enough to help on the PnR with Nash. Since Nash is a defensive liability.

Not bad actually. I am still ok with keeping Shaq and seeing what kind of damage we could do. SSOL could be back.

Come on Amare lose that ego and play some defense.
