Can a S&T for Baby get us a pick?

I'm just wondering. Is there a team in the late lottery or low 20's who would sign and trade for Big Baby? I'm sure they would have to pay him $4+ mil a year for 3-4 years for him to agree. Was what we saw from Glenn in the playoffs enough to give Danny a seat at the table on Thursday?

I usually end up being wrong, but I *think* a s&t can't be done until July 1st.

So maybe only a wink wink type of deal where someone drafts a player we like and trades them to us for Baby next week?

We're contenders, not rebuilders. So no trading established players for rookies.

If Baby can be had for $4mil per season, I just can't see not keeping him. Hell, Anderson Varejao will probably be getting upwards of $8mil from somebody and Davis is a better player. I say lock his big ass up for four more years.

Celtics fans are so used to sucking, lottery and draft picks, that even when we have the best team in the league(talent wise, IMO) our fans STILL want some damn draft picks..did you guys not have enough 'fun' with draft picks in the last 15 years??Wow...

yeah your right man. When all the vets get old we can just start pulling young guys out of our ass so we can have a good team and no 15 year slump again.
