Jazz fans be encouraged by this? You mean our team will likely sit idly by while the playoff teams are getting better?
Jazz brass just doesn't seem to be interested in doing risky moves.

I think Jazz fans should be encouraged by this.
They aren't exactly scrubs. It does save the Bucks money and helps them get a lot deeper.

You have to be in a good financial position to take advantage of deals like this. We're not in a good financial situation thanks to AK.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Thanks to AK? Or thanks to KOC and LHM? It's not AK's fault they gave him max money
I'll stick by my statement that Oberto, Thomas and Bowen are essentially scrubs at this point in their career. This was a basketball move by the Spurs and a financial move by the Bucks.

It was a good move by the Bucks. Jefferson isn't getting them to the playoffs.

Gasol signed his deal and then AK basically demanded the same as him. Jazz's hands were tied. They didn't have to offer him the contract but it isn't that easy when times are hard (like how they were then)...

Plus all of us were on board for that deal at that time. Hind site is 20/20 and every deal that isn't done would have totally gotten the championship. Also every deal that isn't done would have totally been acceptable to the other team.
