Wizards Get Foye And Miller For 5th Pick

The Washington Wizards have acquired Minnesota Timberwolves Randy Foye and Mike Miller in exchange for Etan Thomas, Oleksiy Pecherov and Darius Songaila and the fifth overall pick in Thursday’s NBA draft, a league executive with knowledge of the deal told Yahoo! Sports.

Terrible move.

You give up Foye + Miller + #6 to move up one spot and obtain a bad contract with junk players.

Harden is locked for the Wolves now IMO.

It's a good move for both teams honestly.

Wolves get two studs to fill out their backcourt (possibly Curry and Evans)

Wizards get a veteran in Miller and a young and talented player in Foye.

Nice trade for you guys. The wiz are basically cutting out the fat due to Arenas' bloated contract and injury concerns.

If I'm you guys I would keep both picks and hopefully snag Evans and Curry. I'd trade the 6th pick to the Knicks for Chandler and the 8th. Then you can take Evans and whoever is availible at 8th. Chandler would be good insurance if Brewer doesn't pan out.

There were better ways to construct this trade, but I don't mind getting the #5.
