Intriguing. First impression is that I like it for Minny, but on second thought, I think it really comes down to who's available at #5. That #5 is like a #10 in most drafts.

i think we should be really active in making a move right now. theres already like 4 deals made today so i dont see why we should make a minor tweak.
theres no such thing as defense in phoenix.

given that the core of jamison butler and arenas are in their prime now, it didnt make sense for the wiz to obtain another young guy if there was a chance to add depth ready to go now

win win deal i think - with the edge going to the wiz

I don't really see a whole lot of upside in this deal for the Wizards. Seems mostly like a salary dump deal imo. Miller seemed to really lose a step last season and is expiring anyway. And while Foye is a nice young player, he's been pretty up and down. Plus I've just never been all that impressed by him. It also doesn't help that he plays the same position as their highest plaid player. Maybe if the Wiz start Foye at SG next to Arenas... I donno. I wouldn't be particularly thrilled by this deal if I were a Wiz fan.

Maybe this is a precursor to a Crittendon, Nick Young, Mike James expiring and the 5th and 6th picks for Amare and the 14?

No way we could turn that down. I was kinda thinking maybe the same thing would happen too.
