For me, its Hansborough. Not that he's a bad PF but he just isn't worth the 13th pick.

I really don't see why people are saying Hansbrough isn't good enough to go 13th. He's done nothing but help his stock in workouts and he's been doubted since he first got to UNC, yet all he ever did was prove people wrong over and over and over and over again. Listening to his interview after his workout for the Pacers, he seems to still have that chip on his shoulder and is ready to prove his detractors wrong once again. I like that in a player. He fills a need for us and is just as good a prospect at 13 as we're likely to get.

Would I prefer a different player? Yes, because I want Holiday or Flynn more than anyone. But we likely won't land either of those 2. I'd be perfectly fine with us picking up Psycho T.

To answer the question, I'd be most upset if we for some reason drafted Austin Daye.

I'll say Blair. Still can't get down with a 6'5" 300 pounder. (Only on the basketball court - more than welcome on the football field).

I'll say Blair too. (I don't think there's any chance that we'll pick Daye.) I just worry that he's too short, and I don't really care how long his "wingspan" is supposed to be. I have visions of Ike Diogu when they start talking about "wingspan," and visions of Tractor Traylor when they start talking about Blair's weight.

But, that's an uninformed opinion...if Bird thinks Blair can play, then I'm not going to get upset with the Pacers picking him.

I'm optimistic about pretty much all of the other likely possibilities. Jennings is a bit of an unknown, but sounds promising. And Maynor, Lawson, Henderson, Hansbrough, Johnson...I think any one of those guys could help the Pacers.

To be fair, Blair is 6'6 and 3/4" and according to all reports has lost a ton of weight since the end of Pitt's season.

The Pacers actually measured him at 6'7" (in shoes I'm assuming) and 265 pounds

Probably either Blair (and only because of the knees), or Daye (if there was an actual possibility we ended up with him).

though i dont like blair or hans or lawson. Jennings hands down for me. the thing with lawson is 1 i just dont like his attitude, and more importantly his draftexpress best/worse is Ford/Tinsley. I mean his best case is a player we already have and many of us want to trade. the other is sitting at home not even playing for us. i just dont get why so many pacer fans like him. i dont think i need to explain blair or hans.

At Pitt, I believe he was 315ish. At the combine, Blair measured 6' 5.25" without shoes, weighed 277 lbs., and had 12% body fat. Blair better hope the team doctors don't use BMI as a determining health factor.

Henderson - although I'll be disappointed more than upset. now if we trade down and wind up with some combination of Henderson, Blair, Maynor, and Hans, I'll be happier. I really don't want to take a wing at 13. I'd rather reach a little for a point or a big. I'd rather give Graham another year than draft a so so wing. a combo guard would be okay at 13 but I don't think that's Henderson. if we slide to get two picks, I could live with Henderson, but not at 13.

Brandon Jennings. Something just dosen't seem right about so many teams passing on what was touted as a "top talent".

Obviously, it depends on which position we end up with since if we trade down a bit for some other pieces then getting Hansborough or Blair becomes less of a disappointment for me. However, I think Jonny Flynn is the guy I'm least confident in. I think he'll be gone by the time we pick though so I'm not too worried. I've come around on a lot of other players in this draft. Even Blair I guess I could convince myself will be good. Hansborough will never be a star, but I think his floor is pretty high and getting a good contributor out of the draft is a plus.

Here are the guys I would be really excited about (if you care). Holiday, obviously, and I think there's a chance he could be there. He's been in the 8 or 10 slot on ESPN's mock draft lately. I could see NY move up to make a play for Rubio and that would likely have Memphis picking 8th and probably less interested in getting a PG. The Raptors have been linked to Derozan all along. The Bucks just made their trades and I read that this could lead to them re-signing CV, but Amir Johnson kind of makes that less likely to me. I think they re-sign Sessions. Either way, they're down to Bruce Bowen, and Joe Alexander at the SF spot so I think Terrance Williams or Henderson are more likely for them. The Nets have Harris, and the Bobs have Felton and Augustine so I think there's a small chance Holiday could fall to us and I'd be thrilled. Aside from him I like Ty Lawson now (I've completely reversed my opinion on him), and Earl Clark because I think he could fill a real need for us. I also like Teague more than I probably should.

If we made that Bulls trade and got Lawson/Teague/Maynor and then someone like Danny Green or Chase Bundinger I would feel ilke that was a pretty good draft for us.

since we have discussed Blair's weight, I thought I would mention this little tidbit from his twitter page. I find it pretty funny, but maybe it's just me

yikes, Mullens. I'd been repressing that possibility. now that one would move me from disappointed to upset ... and have me praying that we'd made the pick for someone else but the trade hadn't yet been announced.
