Yep, and the fact that Doc's offense is an abomination shouldn't figure into it, eh?

Doc runs some of the nicest offenses in the NBA - considering the talent he has. You are off your rocker. Doc's strength has always been his offenses. It was his defensive coaching everyone was worrying about.

The C's had the 5th best offense and the 2nd best defense this year. Of course much of those numbers came with KG was healthy. For a guy who loves to post Rondo statistics you couldn't be more off-base.

As i explained before team statistics in basketball are very solid. The C's scored 110 points per 100 possesions. That's good for 5th best in the NBA. You have exposed yourself as a statistical know nothing. The fact that you think our offense was an "abomination" is entirely off-base. And this fact is not up for debate. Points Per 100 possesions is the GOLD STANDARD in evaluating an offense.

Doc ran some nice offense in Orlando as well - so this is nothing new. What's new is our stellar defense led by KG. Rondo is a nice player - but if you are his boyfriend your doing more to set him back then boost him up. :P

Doc runs great offenses my man. Learn the game..

He doesn't hold a candle to Doc who continues to pursue his offensive philosophy and blame the players for its failures. Check out the stats. The turnovers go with Doc's offense like peanut butter and jelly. He used to say " I don't have the vets who can execute my offense." What's his excuse now?

Because Doc is *totally* the one handling the ball and making **** passes...

No one complained about the offense in 2007-08...

I hated it even more back then, but at least we were deep and healthy. The warts really showed this time around. Our offense was "good" enough last season because we had one of the all-time great defenses holding the opposition down. You win in basketball by outscoring the other team.

In this offense everyone is handling the ball. That is the problem. To many chiefs, bit enough indians. Inferior ballhandlers and passers in playmking roles. Here are the assist to turnover leaders for the playoffs. Rondo was taking really good care of the rock, especally for a guy racking up the big assist totals..

Sigh. You do understand points per 100 possesions, right? This compares how many points the Celtics score compared to every other team if they had 100 possesions a game. This takes pace out of the equation..

The C's had a good offense this year and had a good offense last year. THERE IS NO DEBATING THIS. They score more points them most teams in the NBA with those posessions.

Your digging a bigger and bigger hole for yourself. The reason you let everyone handle the ball is because it provides for a better OFFENSE. In an ideal situation everyone on your team can shoot pass or dribble the ball. This makes your offense HARD TO STOP. And it was..

They score more points with the possesions they have then nearly all the other NBA teams! Doc Rivers unlike you knows how to run an offense...
