Rubio looks lame in all the videos I've seen!

Post#1 » by Dan's with the Wolves » Wed Jun 24, 2009 3:15 pm

I having trouble reconciling the Rubio hype with the videos I've seen. I am not impressed with him based on video footage. Reminds me of Marko Jaric!!! not Kidd or Nash. If anyone has a link to a video that makes you think he'll be a star in the nba, I would like to see it.

I think he'll fall past the Wolves on draft day.

At the same time, can someone post a video of Gerald Green, and maybe Darko?

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Watch the olympic games. He didnt dominate by any means, but he was one of the better players, he wasnt getting abused by anyone(i.e. kidd or paul)

And Rubio was 17 or 18 years old. I think part of what we need to remember is that he is not going to come in and dominate but he has time to develop.

But I do agree that he is getting too much hype, but for me it has nothing to do with his skills and future, as much as it does the Love+6 for 2 or 5+6 for 2 deals that have been thrown about here. I would rather have two good players(three counting love) than one good player. But I would love it if Rubio was one of those players.

If Rubio is drafted by the Wolves he better tattoo Jesus Christ on his forehead eating an apple pie and flying the American flag!

I just finished watching the USA - Spain finals. Rubio was just along for the ride Navarro, Fernandez and the Gasol brothers did the damage.

I didn't see anything from Rubio.

I'm going to go out on a limb and say that Rubio's solid track record as a professional player also has something to do with scouts' regard for him. Just throwing out crazy talk, I know.

It's hard to imagine how Rubio even qualified to be on the board... :-?
