How many dumb push off fouls does he get a game where is obviously shoves the other guy in the back?

I am fine getting rid of Boozer but I would really prefer it not to be for Bosh. I think that he is a lot of the same.

Bosh's usage numbers over the last 4 years look nearly identical to Boozers:

Bosh: 22.6, 23.9, 25.1, 24.1
Boozer: 22.4, 24.8, 24.7, 22.3

...so, no.

I see where you are going with this, but it's not the same thing. Boozer's touches are ran plays that are designed for the PF to get easy buckets. Bosh has to create a lot of his shots. And don't get me wrong, I know Boozer can create his own shot. He has great footwork under the basket. I feel Bosh would thrive, greater then he is already, with an offense designed to get him easy buckets.

And Boozer stock is way down, but you are only getting 1 year of Bosh guaranteed so it is still good value on both sides. If Bosh was willing to sign an extension then I think Boozers value dropped too low. Do I think this will really happen, NO. But I would love to see it.

And to chime in on why the Boozer hate. People get hurt, I get it. What really frustrates me is the selfish attitude "I'm a starter, PERIOD!!!" And the fact that he doesn't bring it every game, in fact he takes multiple games off. He has one great series and shows us what he can do. Well that puts an exclamation point to what I'm saying. He is great offensively and I believe he can be good defensively, he just chooses not to. I've had to work with someone like that as well and I really got tired of carrying his load. I can see how it would be an unspoken cancer in the locker room. And for what he is demanding any game he can suit he better bring it. Injuries are uncontrolled and his seem worse then others yet sound so minor. If your a self proclaimed "starter, PERIOD!" then EVERY game your on the court you better bring it. Otherwise Shut up and leave. And that is the point I am at with him.

It takes nothing away from his talent, just his heart. And to sum it up I think Ostertag had the same issue but less talent to bring. I would rather have Tag back with his inflated 8mil a year.

Listen, there is no way to give any proof to what you're saying. In the first place, Toronto runs a fairly similay offensive system to what the Jazz do, and Bosh has one of the top 5 passing PGs in the league setting him up for easy opportunities. He is the teams unquestioned #1 weapon, whereas Boozer has to share touches with a guy like Deron Williams who is easily capable of averaging 20+, as well as Memo who is nearly a 20 ppg guy himself....not to mention the slew of other guys that, on a team with less weapons, would probably average ~15ppg apeice.

There's just an overwhelming amount of evidence to suggest that your statement is simply fabricated out of the air. Would Bosh get a few more easy touches here? Maybe. I think he might get a few more, but its not enough to measurably change his scoring or his offensive efficiency. If it is, give me some sort of evidence outside of "Utah runs a PF friendly offense."

And I really don't understand what all these stupid statements by Carlos are. He made one major gaffe, telling a reporter (a statement he thought was off the record, but w.e) that he was due for a raise and was going to opt out no question. Yeah, that was dumb. Otherwise, all he's done is say the right things.

A few years back, everyone thought that just because he wouldn't come right out and say "I want to be in Utah" that he was on his way out the door. Well, hell, he even came out and said word for word "this is definitely where I want to be" at the end of the year.

Do people really think he wasn't trying his ass off to get back from that injury? THE DUDE'S LIVELIHOOD WAS AT STAKE! As woodman so eloquently pointed out, it was his contract year. You REALLY think he would dog it? Where the hell did the benefit of the doubt go? Has anyone here ever tried to come back from a knee injury like that? I have a brother who has the exact same injury--a torn meniscus--and his knee is permanently damaged. He can't even play bball anymore because he didn't get it treated properly. It's a real, serious thing. Deron took 2 1/2 months to come back from a sprained ankle. And you know what? The grumbling was starting to come just before his game began to take off in mid January.

He was struggling to get back to where he needed to be. Defensively it was horrific, but its not like his offensive numbers didn't look terrible too. And how can you blame him for saying he's a starter? The dude's pride is involved, and I'm damn glad he would respond that way. He's been an All-Star and an All-NBA performer, he feels like he should be given the deference due a player that has accomplished what he has accomplished. I have a hard time arguing.

What it sounds like to me is that we have people here who just can't handle the emotions of being NBA fans and not seeing their team succeed, and they want to see blood shed, heads roll, and whatever else is necessary just to make them feel better. That's patently ridiculous. I'm just as pissed off as you or anyone else. But I've seen enough of the NBA (and other sports as well) to realize that sometimes it just doesn't work out, and to try to exact some measure of revenge isn't going to help our future chances of winning. Just be a man and learn to handle your disapointment. It's that simple.

Didn't Boozer affirm that was on the record?
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
