All official stuff, thoughts on the draft itself and players picked can go in here, for those who are going to be online for the event itself

If we trade our pick or move down, the remote is going through the tv.

^My TV is going out the window.

I was cautiously optimistic about the draft. But this recent trade makes me think it's just gonna get worse.

The unfortunate thing is it's a flat screen hdtv. I have a lot riding on the draft tomorrow

I don't know if this has already been posted or not but Bucher says we have another deal in which we get a Chandleresque player. COuld be a very exciting night tomorrow. Hopefully this will all make sense if this means we get some star back. But unfortunately I doubt it will.

Draft talk in ARZ article about the trade today.

http://www.azcentral.com/sports/suns/ar ... de-CR.html
Dealing O'Neal could mean the Suns look at the only center option at No. 14 in Ohio State's 20-year-old B.J. Mullens. He would be an athletic, offensively skilled balance to Robin Lopez but he is raw.

The Suns also are interested in point guards Jonny Flynn of Syracuse and Jrue Holiday of UCLA if they tumble, and could take North Carolina power forward Tyler Hansbrough if their top 10 targets are gone.

We have lots to consider," Suns General Manager Steve Kerr said. "We've pared our list down to players we're very comfortable with drafting."

The Suns planned to go the "best player available" route, which might lead them to a batch of wing players. Duke's Gerald Henderson could slip and would be of interest but has to be a long-term plan with shooting guards Jason Richardson and Leandro Barbosa on the team.

Wake Forest small forward James Johnson's balance of physical play and skill may have separated him from Louisville's Earl Clark, a playmaking offensive fit who defends, and Gonzaga's Austin Daye, who faded from favor.

Point guard Brandon Jennings could be a risk-reward opportunity at No. 14 but the Suns also like Wake Forest's speedy point guard Jeff Teague.

Defense and tenacity will be targeted with the three second-round selections with one of the choices figuring to make the team.

If it's the Chandler I'm thinking of, then maybe Kerr will redeem himself a little

If Chandler is healthy and coming, yeah, then Kerr redeems himself to 50%.

Imagine if IHO is right and Tyson Chandler is traded another silver lining is that ESPN anaylsts will look even stupider than they already do. No matter what Sarver and Kerr does I will still be a Suns fan and I have been one since 1987 so I predate the owner and GM as a fan. The Suns to me are the players and the coach not Sarver and mopst definetly not Steve i am an idiot Kerr! I also believe thast Tyson Chandler as some Hornet fans would like us to believe he is damaged goods don't buy it he passed his physical and then OKC backed out which tells me something else cause the Thunder to back out and also if I am wrong we have the best medical staff in the nba I mean lok at what they did with Shaq.

Hi Suns fans,

I am not sure if it's the right topic, but did you hear something about that (I did not find anything on your board) ?

Amare and Barbsa for T-Mac, Landry and Brooks, seems it should come from your board since they are referring to the announcement of Porter being fired coming from your little bird.

...According to the same source that disclosed Terry Porter was about to be fired as Suns coach, the Rockets are leaning toward swapping Tracy McGrady's expiring $22M contract, Carl Landry and Aaron Brooks for Leandro Barbosa and Stoudemire, who owns an escape clause after next season and is demanding an extension this summer to waive it...
