"Shaqtastic. 24 points." "Where'd you get so many Q's?" (With a stern scary look) "Don't worry about it..."

Yea its pretty much a done deal, i have mix feelings about it.

"The Cleveland Cavaliers have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Phoenix Suns center Shaquille O’Neal(notes), a league source told Yahoo! Sports late Thursday night.

Cleveland will send Ben Wallace(notes), Sasha Pavlovic(notes), the 46th pick in Thursday’s draft and cash to the Suns for O’Neal."

I love it. We get production and give up no production. We maintain 2010 flexibility. We get a legit post presence.

That's the word from W&G- and tomorrow will be the next big move most likely. There's a pretty good chance we get into the teens for the draft.

You guy needs to sign Sheed or Boozer and its a done deal for a title

You guys have to remember Shaq is only good for a bout 40 games and the playoffs. So you're gonna have to have another big in there to shoulder the load.

This moves Z to the bench which is good, I expect him and Shaq to basically split the time at center allowing each of them to stay pretty fresh. We just need a power foward to strecth the floor. Lets see what we do in the draft/with the mle. Because again i'm not to sure about this deal. I was hoping for a young piece with our trade assets. And broussard reported we could have had Chandler if we wanted.

i wonder if we could convince z to a trade and have him agree to take a buyout and get brought back (ala mcdyess)? seems illogical but he's got a nice trade chip of a contract if he's down to improve the team

Mixed on the trade as well. I'm fine with it if we can bring in a PF like Villaneuva with the MLE.

Also I imagine we will address our need for an athletic wing defender with size via the draft.

The deal is done. Pavs, Ben, 46th for Shaq.

On a side note the Cavs are still pursing a higher draft pick. It is expected that they get a pick from the mid teens to late teens. It is also very possible that they get higher in that.NJ is shopping there pick. The Cavs are very very busy and arent looking to relax.

wow, your team is vicious now!!

Mo Williams / D. Gip
Delonte West / Wally
Lebron / Wally / (Draft Pick??)
Andy V / Joe Smith / Darnell Jackson
Shaq / Big Z

That team literally has everything. FML Pistons suck :(

put that with:
Mo

Totally agree. This is a huge help for this year, but we will still need to add youth for the future as well. CV would be a great addition. Get it done Danny!

Boozer would be nice, but we don't have the money; unless we some how pull off a sign and trade.

wow i am astonished this is great we give up wallace who imo we dont need and sasha who hardley played at all this year. hopefully we can make a nice move on draft night and jj hickson can start to put in some work. one thing i like is you no shaq is probably super motivated now that kobe got his 4th ring and lebron has to be really motivated and probably revitalized a little knowing shaq is coming to town.
