You do know that Evans only played PG because he was too sh*tty playing off the ball...meaning if the ball wasn't in his hands he was absolute garabage

The same can be said about ALOT of players in the NBA. Plus why would we need him at SG anyways, we have K-Mart plus Cisco is also perfectly capable of playing the position.
can we just get a new arena already...

It doesnt mean Evans wasnt able to play off the ball, it means someone wasnt getting him the ball cuz he was their best player.

Many good two guards first started off at the PG. Dwyane Wade. Anfernee Hardaway - before injury.

Evans is a scorer but he can handle the point. He is the 2nd best player in this draft past Griffin

Maybe what Brandon Jennings said about Rubio being all hype is true?

Very good reply, that makes perfect sense to me. Evans can't be that bad off the ball.

I am really starting to have the same opinion. Guess we'll see what happens...

Perhaps but I would take my chances on Rubio over other "question marks" players such as Holiday and Thabeet. Image

Holiday and Thabeet aren't in the discussion.

Well, probably Holiday isn't in the discussion anymore but Thabeet certainly is in the discussion though. There was an article referring that if Thabeet falls, the Kings will consider him as a option. But I doubt he is that high on the draft board though.

Did we even work out Thabeet?

Thabeet next to Thompson isn't necessarily a bad thing? I just don't know....the more I look at things the more it's apparent that all our woes won't be fixed with this draft alone. I'd do #2 and #4 to get Thabeet and a PG (Evans) IF and only IF we are giving up Kevin Martin and not Jason Thompson. With the 23rd get a PG that has fallen. Evans can play both guard spots and we have to be better on D with both Evans and Thabeet on the squad.

Not at all. I don't think he is a bad fit with Thompson. But he is likely to be backup behind Hawes though. And supposedly he has a promise with the Grizzlies iirc. He refused to workout with the Kings and other teams. So, I don't know if bringing Thabeet is a good idea in the first place.

We all know what is my stance on Kevin Martin. So, I don't have to comment your Martin reference in your post.

Well, ultimately we have to wait for the draft which is tomorrow!

I mentioned in the Grizz trade thread about nabbing Thabeet if we got #2 and then taking Evans at #4, that would be awesome! But if we included Martin instead of Thompson, then one would assume that Kevin has to have more value than Thompson. All I am saying is we better get something more in return...

It's from ESPN Mobile so the formatting may be small. I found it an intersting read.
