The kings are in the SAME SITUATION as the cavs. Except for our lebron is sacramento. We have got to make changes, and DRASTIC MOVES that will show sacramento, politicians, fans, and anyone involved in deciding on a new arena in sacramento that we ARE GOING TO WIN.
So expiring deals, lack of talent, no name players drafting, or nothing mind blowing. Will not help the SACRAMENTO kings.
Maybe the kings in another city but not the kings in SACRAMENTO. So if your a SACRAMENTO kings fan you better be hoping we hit a homerun (meaning drafting rubio, trading for amare, or something to that extent)
BEcause it's "CHICKEN LITTLE" talk.

Thompson starting power forard.... LOCK
SPENCER HAWES STARTING CENTER... LOCK
KEVIN MARTIN STARTING SHOOTING GUARD... LOCK.
You take anyone of those positions... sg, pf, center and your wasting a pick if you take anyone of those positions witht he 4th pick.
Care to explain how I'm wrong?
Dude, chill out! Why don't you try discussing ideas with people rather than argue?
This space needs to be filled with a new sig...but I'm too lazy to make one.

Easy!
Thompson - 0 All Star weekend appearances (rookie soph game)
Hawes - 0 All Star weekend appearances (rookie soph game)
Martin - 0 All Star Appearances, not a superstar
I don't see how three guys who aren't projected by anyone to make even an all star appearance are supposed to be locks to stay. We need stars! Evans has just as much star potent as any of the other three guys mentioned and just may have more EVEN if his best position is SG.
KANGZZZZZ!

You cant really fault JT or Hawes because they are still growing and I think both will become all-stars one day.

Re: Rumored deal with Grizz???
Evans can easily play PG and he's easily the 2nd or 3rd best prospect in the draft. Simple as that.

Re: Rumored deal with Grizz???
This is what I've been thinking alot about lately. We need a go-to player. At the end of the game, we need a basket, we need someone to throw the ball too that is clutch and can get that basket for us, or let the defense come to him and create for a shot for someone else. Evans has the best potential for this out of anyone really.
Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.
That just happened.

Re: Rumored deal with Grizz???
Besides Evans, I'd say Harden could be that go-to guy as well. But I still want Evans

can we just get a new arena already...

Thompson isn't a lock.
Hawes isn't a lock.
"Certain" King's fans that keep jocking on Thompson's c**** just embarrass Sacramento like no other.
Thompson and Hawes have the potential to be good players....but potential simply means you haven't done sh*t yet. Thompson wasn't even a top 6-7 player in his draft class and may not even be a top 10 player when its all said and done in his draft class. He has shown signs of being great, but so has Andre Bynum so has Randolph and Speights and a ton of other players that are currently nothing.
He is in no way untouchable or a lock. He is simply harder to obtain than some other players on this team. Unless they drastically improve, a team w/ Thompson and Hawes, and no superstar PG or SF is added, will never make it to the 2nd round. Basically a team w/ zero allstars.
