Broussard says Kaman and Tyson Chandler will likely have new homes tomorrow. Food for thought.

Draft Day Trade CHA LAC MEM

Charlotte Out: Emeka Okafor, #12, #40, #54
Charlotte In: Chris Kaman, Ricky Rubio (#2)

Memphis In: Emeka Okafor, #40
Memphis Out: #2, Darius Miles

LAC In: #12, #54, Darius Miles
LAC Out: Chris Kaman

Rubio/Augustin
Bell/Felton
Wallace/Radman
Diaw/Ajinca
Kaman/Diop

We'd need a free agent big man or two, or a S&T of Felton, but its a golden roster.

I'm an Okafor homer so this trade already leaves a bad taste in my mouth, but we'd definitely have to do something with Felton and back up 4.... like you said. But I like Kamen and I think Ricky Rubio will eventually turn into RICKY RUBIO. As long as he isn't counting the days when he can bolt Charlotte, I'm with it.

Sorry, I just think that Rubio or Harden will help this team wayyy more than the downgrade from Okafor to Dalembert or Kaman or similar player.

I want Williams even moreso after hearing about him really wanting to be here, but I'm guessing it will end up being another disappointing draft night with him being selected before our pick...

No need to be sorry. If Rubio turns into what most people think he'll be, then I completely agree with you.
But don't take my word for it, i also thought Yao wasn't going to be anything special, Melo was going to be better than LBJ and DH12 was only going to be "OK". Which is probably why I hate him now

You know what... me too! I was high on Hendo, and I still like him, but hearing how much TWill wants to be a Bobcat has swayed me greatly.......... but considering my track record, maybe thats a bad thing

from ESPN/Chad Ford:

• Louisville's Terrence Williams has a right to be upset. After working out against Gerald Henderson on Monday in Charlotte, Williams thought he got a promise to be drafted by Charlotte at No. 12.

Then Michael Jordan showed up. According to sources Jordan isn't a big Williams fan and would prefer that the Bobcats either trade the pick or draft Wake Forest's James Johnson

The morning of the Draft, and Ford's latest has Henderson to NJ and T-Will to Charlotte!

Smiles everyone!

ESPN Insider says MJ does not want T-Will, must be a LB preference. Says MJ wants James Johnson or to trade pick. Are we seeing a problem arising? Have to see what happens tonight.

Supposedly MJ wanted Brook Lopez last year and LB insisted on DJ. Since Brown got his way last year perhaps MJ is antsy about a big and wants his turn at bat. It also could be MJ prefers Henderson, and if he's not there would prefer the trade down scenario with Chicago. I prefer that also.
I continue to wait...and hope...for the return to Hornet's glory.

Yeah, Brown sure made a mistake drafting the best shooting rookie..................

If Jordan is thinking that way, it's best he let Brown do the drafting again.

wtf Jordan

Read from another board that Jordan doesn't like T-Will and prefers to either trade to the pick or take James Johnson (apparently this is from Chad Ford's draft buzz). I DO NOT want Johnson. Dude is a BUST in the making. I hope Larry wins out on this one.

Seriously are we going to relive the Sean May experiment?

Multiple places reporting we are trying to package our 2 2nds to move back into the 1st for another pick, but cant find takers. The Lakers are wanting to get rid of their 1st, but I guess they merely want cash. Since 2nd rounders are not guaranteed anything, I would think that would be good for LA. But maybe not.
