I would hate it if we moved up for Daye or Mullens. They both scream bust to me. Sure they're swing for the fences type of prospects, but they are more of a "close your eyes and swing as hard as you can" type prospect imo.
Thriving on mediocrity since '89.

Al\Love\Clark\Harden\Evans

sick? Plenty of lineups to mix and match too.

With thabeet locked in @ 2, Rubio @ 3, and Flynn @ 4. We are sitting pretty for my ideal draft.

If you are building a team around Al this seems like the backcourt to do it.

The talent value there is nice, the only thing that concerns me is that we'd be drafting two SG's (Harden might be able to make Evans at PG work, since he's a good passer and capable of making quick decisions without having to poud the ball) and a guy with a questioable motor that could well end up a PF. Looking at the lineup, I don't see Al having much room to maneuver in the post, either. It's definitely sick from a length standpoint, though.

Wolves FO should just spam every team in front of 18 w/ 18/28/45/47 and see how far up they can get. Don't need a target even, just take BPA

Evans/Harden is probably more realistic as a SG/SF combo. Harden can probably fare better off the dribble against SFs and his size and length makes him a reasonable defensive option. Evans too. There's lots of options at the 1/2/3 with those 2.

Only way we grab Henderson is if we get a 10-14 range. With the 18 we are going for a SF, but a specific one that I do not know.

Hopefully Casspi, so we can stash him. This would also make Portlands trade pointless. I've also heard Jerebko, but we could maybe get him at 28 too.

Unless Clark slips, I think it's going to be Young.

Too high IMO

Honestly I have not heard a word about Young. Which could be a perfect smoke screen or we do not like him. Certain sources linked a promise to Daye with the 18th

I kind of had my heart set on Danny Green or Taj Gibson as our SF at #28. I wouldn't mind Young at all. He could be a nice defender that knocks down open looks and finishes at the rim with some ferocity. Plus that pump fake is hilarious.

Taj will not be a SF.

Maybe not a true one, but I could see a hybrid 4/3 AK47 type role. The couple times I watched USC play ASU they put him on Harden when ASU isolated him on the perimeter, and Taj locked him up and didn't let Harden do Jack. The offensive game isn't there (although he has shown a surprisingly good handle at times), but the defensive potential really intrigues me.
