That's interesting, but I think we would be left with far too many question marks. We'd have no PG, and it's not like there are many nice PG's worth Bosh or Bargs. Might be lucky to get Rondo or Harris, but doubt it since they would then be left without a PG. Toronto would have to do quite a bit to balance the roster.

I'm a huge fan of dealing Bosh and our first for Horford and Marvin, but it sounds like that wouldn't get you guys too excited. Wouldn't mind seeing LA lite in ATL though.

Interesting deal here. If TOR moves Bosh, this could be a possibility...

I highly doubt it. I doubt Toronto would deal Bargs alone for Josh, and they definitely wouldn't be keen on giving up both guys. Especially since trading Bosh would probably bring in either a PF or a SF. If it brought in a SF, Toronto would probably be better off offering Milsap or Lee $$ while keeping Bargs and Calderon.

It seems that new on the trade board is the argument that calderon is equal to Horford.

Calderon is a below average starting PG.

I'd prefer the one with upside.

How so? Who's the median here, Devin Harris?

I understand if you guys would want more defense from the PG position (so maybe someone like Hinrich would make more sense), but I can't understand what more you want offensively - especially now with Crawford on the roster. Scoring is not an issue with the team, but ball movement and outside shooting are. For those two weaknesses, Calderon is probably the best PG you can get. Especially since his contract is not bad at all. He's easily the most unselfish player in the league, and he's as good as anybody at nailing the open three pointer. His efficiency is a nice compliment to Crawford's scoring with lack of efficiency.

^^^ If we need defense why would we deal for Calderon? He's worse defensively than Bibby imo.

How about Blake or Sergio from POR. One of them plus Outlaw or Webster for Williams? Thoughts?

It will be harder now that it would require a sign and trade, but I thought in the past that we could have made something build on Marvin for Webster + Sergio (or Jack back to this time).

It was based on the hope to be able to trade later Zaza+Claxton+filler for a big.
Now, that Claxton is gone, and we got a guard, it's a different problem. I'd say we need to know what we do with Bibby first.

I said that I understand not getting excited over Calderon if you want defense, and how Hinrich would make sense if you wanted defense. Otherwise, I'm just not sure what you guys are expecting. Calderon is probably the best offensive fit you guys could get, while Hinrich probably makes the most sense if you want to get more defensive.
