OKC asking for JEFFERSON for Rubio? LOL!!

Post#1 » by big3_8_19_21 » Thu Jun 25, 2009 11:21 pm

Minnesota appeared to be playing it cool in regards to Rubio early on, but has emerged as a major suitor for his services this evening, which will make things very interesting leading up to the #3 pick. OKC seems to be asking for Al Jefferson right now…will they settle on Kevin Love?

from draft express.

WHAT A JOKE! That's on par with the Suns asking for Jefferson/6 for Amare. What is wrong with some of these people?

I'll be upset if we do it for love at this point.

Rubio and Flynn? I don't like your draft guys sorry. A great passing little kid and a solid servicable pg, that you could have got much later thatn the 5th & 6th? What was the hurry to get those two high picks. Neither guy is a scorer, neither is explosive

OKC wouldn't be doing their job if they didnt ask for Jefferson. If you don't ask you wont get the player 100%. If you do ask there is always a possibility unless your LeBron.

They're not doing they're job if they make clearly unreasonable requests. It's just a waste of time.

It also takes 5 seconds to offer Love for LeBron...but it's still a waste of everyone's time.

OKC looks like fools for asking for Jefferson for any pick in this draft outside of #1. Bottom line.

There's no point in making stupid offers that don't have a snowball's chance in hell of happening. Period.

Yeah, you don't know until you ask, but you also need to stay within the realm of possibility. Jefferson for the 3rd pick in this draft? I assume David Kahn didn't actually give an answer, but rather farted into the phone and blocked their number.

Rubio for Jefferson would be a steal for the Wolves, Jefferson is an excellent PF/C. Rubio will be as good as Sun Yue.

this was...before the draft...we already have Jefferson. I was laughing at the prospect of trading Jefferson for the #3 pick (which would have been Rubio).
