Anyone interested in brinigng back Carney?

Post#1 » by Calinks » Thu Jun 25, 2009 9:41 pm

Depending on how we draft, we may still have a dearth of players at the 2 spot. If its on the cheap would anyone be fore signing Carney as a role player off the bench? I think he was a great spark last year and with a good PG, he could look even better.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

If he's cheap. He does a couple of things for us, and he's got a good attitude.

I am ignorant of the other young, cheap SG/SF out there in free agency, so there could be better options...but Carney skill set plus age and cheap contract make him very useful for a young team in need of 2/3

Carney sucks. I'd welcome him back for the minimum though, I suppose.

I really like him off the bench. He is super athletic and a decent shooter. I hope we keep him!

He's gone. We don't have the roster space.

if Carney would sign for less than 2 million I think we could buy out Madsen or Pech to gain a roster spot

He was fun to watch on our **** team last season, but he's really not very good.
