I kind of wanted them to take Blair, but he's listed at 6'6.5". That's absurdly short for a low post guy. I was thinking he was undersized at 6'8".

I'm loving the Ty Lawson news, and the fact that we traded our '10 first and not the Bobcats' pick makes this even better.

so it was a good trade.
Much better than drafting a player that will never see the court. Maybe we knew the Rockets wanted him, and held him for ransom.

Sounds like that may be the case.
Overall I am happy with the draft we got a guy the team has wanted for the last two years, and more importantly a guy who Chauncey can mentor. Not to mention he is another PG that can come in and change the pace with the 2nd team, much like Carter did last year for us.

Re: Denver Nuggets Draft Talk
huge upgrade over AC..maybe we can finally let him go...although i will admit...AC has given everything he has for the Nuggets, as much as we bash his play, he's always given 100%. but..but..i am SO happy we finally picked up a young point..we needed that bad

I agree, the further we get away from the season, the more I appreciate the constant effort he brought. Unfortunately he has a habit of making some really bad decisions at times and his talent level is just not we need from a 20+ mpg player. If anything I would be okay if they could bring him back as a spot player only to back up Lawson when Lawson plays like crap, or when we have injury problems, but i do not see Karl only using him that way.
Overall we have needed a good young PG for a long time, Lawson should be a very good backup, and hopefully can develop into a long term starter to fit with Melo, JR, and even Nene.
