Chach wrote:This is the reason why I never post on RealGM anymore. Every year, older posters would complain about how the new crop of posters were never as good as the year before. I can't comment on the quality of posters today as opposed to 2003 or 2004, when I was most active, but the upper ups and mods are HYPER-sensitive towards criticism and "out of line" behavior. The greatest thread in RealGM history, The Other MJ's discussion of the Eroticage, NEVER would have gotten past the third post before he was suspended for a week.

When mods engage in this behavior, even if it's responding to an instigator (which it seems that Jollay was intentionally poking T_M), then your staff loses all credibility. This is just utter garbage. mahalo

Whoa this is almost turning into the NBA where they had the hey day and now the refs are ruining it to the point where we'll never see magic like that again...

Chach layin down the law!

Filing out a complaint form aint going to do anything so no need to quote yourself. You guys suspended him so he's not going to waste his time filling out a form that will most likely not get answered. And even if it does nothing will change.

RGM is suppose to be a place to relax, have fun, and loosen up. Not some tight, conservative forum where officers over step their boundaries.

You treat this like a business in every aspect but customer service. You guys dont look critically at modding practices or go on any precendent as long as you wont get in trouble, and never respond to anything. BOO = my opinion.

But this is a free service. You are not a customer as you don't pay anything to be here but your time. If there was a massive revolt and "users" left in which leads to less ad revenue then you might have a point.

But we are customers, we're active in both perpetuating and consuming a product that is worth money. When you watch tv are you not a customer?

I wonder about the poster on realgm as consumer- half the people have ad blockers and the other half are 15 year old with 20 dollars in their pocket.

Tony Montana is a quality poster and a good human being. I'll vouch for him.

Sorry, but I see this as a pretty horrible outlook towards your users.
