Orlando Summer League

Post#1 » by pacershereiam » Fri Jun 26, 2009 4:11 pm

When is the Orlando Summer league? I'm looking forward to it. Hibbert, Rush will be in it this year with Hansbrough. It should be exciting. Earl Calloway too.

Earl Calloway - a much better prospect than AJ Price. We should wreck everybody. Guys are going to hate playing against Hansbrough.

I know. I didn't like the pick at first, but the more a I thought about it the more I liked it. I mean look at the past, when Pacers selected Granger I was mad cause I wanted Green. Granger was the best choice. Hibbert and Rush. I was mad at first we traded Bayless but look what happened. Larry Bird knows what he is doing and is building a great team.

I'm glad you see the light at the end of the tunnel.

We all want to be GM's and have our teams pick our guys, but we just need to trust the man in charge.

I agree IndieRuso420. I mean look at the team we have for the future:
Ford/Jack (whoever we keep)
Rush/Dunleavy
Granger
Hansbrough
Hibbert

Rush, Granger, Hansbrough, and Hibbert all play hard all the time and will work their butts off in the summer to get better. I think we have a good thing going for us. I think next year we go for PG.

On the bright side, we should have an awesome summer league team:

Hibbert/McRoberts?
Hansbrough/McRoberts?
????
Rush
Price

ill be ok with our pick if and when hibbert becomes our inside guy. until then i wont. this needs to happen for Hansbrough to become effective. Rush/Granger/Hansbrough/Hibbert are a nice core. It wil be nice in 2011 when we have a ton of money coming off the books: Tinsley, Murphy, Dunleavy, Ford.

Yes, we desperately need Hibbert to be a full-time shot-blocking presence now. Otherwise, this team build is going to remain very, very porous. He's been working hard though, and I think we can remain hopeful. If it works out, hopefully we can bring back Murphy and Dunleavy on the cheap as rotation guys. Unless Ford really turns it around though, we still need to be on the look-out for our PG of the future. I don't know, maybe it's a genius move to go big in a PG draft, and go PG in a big draft (next year)... maybe.
