Love on Twitter

Post#1 » by MLC84 » Fri Jun 26, 2009 6:14 pm

You have to figure the "braintrust" encouraged him to be careful with his posts after the McHale dismissal. So he comes right back with Rubio to stay in Spain.

Either he doesn't care or imay be making a point.

Did you actually read it? All Love said was "rubio to stay in Spain according to his father..."

We already knew that. Wiretap makes it sound definite. Its still all speculation at this point from anyone other than Ricky himself.

Love is really starting to irk me with this Twitter crap. it's like he's trying to break every story now. I can already see more problems arising.

I caught Kahn sniffing our jerseys... WTF?

He's just a human having some fun

I find his tweets reassuring and entertaining

I also like it from a marketing point of view, it gives him notoriety as he gets a lot of exposure out of it

C'mon guys, just unfollow him if you aren't a fan, its a breath of fresh air and has made me feel closer to the team seeing this side of one of our players

I like them... someone with a Twitter account should bug him to make a RealGM account. He seems to spend a decent amount of time on the internet anyway.

Seriously, forget Kahn, send Love over to Spain to talk to Rubio. He'll be here by the end of the weekend.

At this point it is all pure speculation. Rubio is still getting used to the idea of playing with the TWolves.
I believe it is 50/50 at this moment on whether he returns to Europe or joins Minnesota right away.

Love seems to be living up to his pre-draft reputation. That is not a complement.

I don't see why people are acting like Love has an attitude problem just because he's getting attention from Twitter.

he's not supposed to be having fun, he's supposed to be training hard, carrying buckets of water on the end of sticks for a cranky Chinese Kung Fu master like on Kill Bill 2, and punching that wood panel so he's not SOL just in case he gets buried alive in a coffin someday and only has 3 inches of punching room. Then he'll be like "jackpot, I've been training for just such a situation"

Love is twittering because he and Flynn's are being sent out in a 3-way that nets us Thabeet and Martin ... hard to find a way to make $$ work.

This would be classic:
Rubio, Martin, Brewer, Jefferson, Thabeet.
Telfair, Ellington, Gomes, Songolia, Thomas.
Flip response to Love wanting out, "He has no reason to be upset, you're either a part of the problem or a part of the solution"

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
