I hope the deals explodes..... more egg on the face of Kerr... (ala John Salmons... and I can't think of that other FA guard... a white guy that was coming here a few years back... they reported signing him???)

How many other organizations have this type of uncertainty and drama surrounding them ?

I didn't see it but was Curry's photo on the front page ??? Jeezus... what an over site and complete gun jumping maneuver, as well as a slight to Clark.

These guys clearly do not have a grip. They have staff members who cannot be trusted... ie ... why else would we have this 'Mole' who titillates all of you to resemble an old lady quilting session full of gooey gossip stringing y'all along on a soap-operaric ride...

As entertaining as it is, If anything, it should show the disloyalties inherent in our front office. Do you get this in San Ant ? Det ? LA ? Indy ? I really think Sarver and Kerr have lost the respect of their people. I hate 'unnamed sources' .

A mole (also called a defector in place, an informant and in the Mafia a rat) is a spy who works for an enemy nation, but whose loyalty truly lies within his nation's government. ...
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mole_(espionage)
.... But in this case, WHO is the enemy?

Snitch - denounce: give away information about somebody; "He told on his classmate who had cheated on the exam"

as juicy as this info is, I don't condone it. It reeks of bad Karma. The media eats it up with little to no descretion or valid journalistic prudence..... And if someone would get in trouble for disclosing it, then obviously it goes against internal policy.

Nothing personal IHG... I am sure I am a minority. Most look at your info as privileged knowledge, where as others would see as a security breach.

There.... I am 3 cents shy of a nickel

PS.... rock on you BallBoys... pay no attention to the men behind the curtain of excessive posting and too much time on their hands.

Yeah great, but I think my questioning of how a deal can simultaneously be done but important pieces havent been ironed out is a valid contribution to the dicussion.

I just woke up and don't have time to go through the whole thread. I'm overseas so is 8:50 now in the morning here.

I got an email saying Amare will be on a new 5 (3 extended) year deal and the trade stands as is if we want it. GSW will not be made liars and do the rare thing and break an agreement in principle. The hold up was Amare's contract the whole time. Plus GS tried to back down a bit but they'll stick to their original word if we insist.

Now ironically their is an option to change the trade pieces and step back from Curry in favor of a better deal. That's where we are right now.

I can understand the Suns pursuit of Curry, but to hear all the Warriors fans coming on this board making fun of our insider is tasteless. This is our board, use your board for that. And I still don't understand Golden State keeping Curry when they have $55 million tied to Ellis. But good luck to Golden State. I for one am hopeful this could lead to a trade for Chandler and one more year of Amare and Nash pick and roll.

I believe the trade will still go through, but I would think Amare would have to agree to resign for a longer contract before it happens. Just my 2 cents.

The problem here is that the GS front office is a clusterf*ck of overbearing personalities, lies, back-stabbing, you name it. IHG probably got a little too confident with his posts based on prior transactions, he's just never dealt with a Chris Cohan operation before.

Why dont you try telling that to you fellow GS board members. Im just sick of people trying to attack him, yet feel the need to come to our board (when you have the same thread on your board) trying to get the latest info. I believe the deal is done. Amare WILL go to GS, and Curry WILL be a Sun, but the rest of the details are still being worked out. That is all IHG has said. Its done, there will be a trade, but now its up to the details.

I want to believe him, but the guy starts threads w/o any actual information, was IHG in the Suns war room last night? But anyway what are the Warriors thinking? They're trading 4 or 5 players for a guy who can't rebound, doesn't believe in defense, has 2 bad knees, 1 bad eye, 1 year left on his deal and wants a max-contract? Talk about a steal...

That adds nothing to the dicussion.

Either a)As the guy suggests, the deal has been agreed to in principle and it will be finalized on july 8th, or b)it has not. Considering he is taking such a firm stance in saying the deal IS DONE, it doesnt make sense that major pieces are still being taken in and out regardless of whether ot not it can be technically completed. If major pieces are being taken in and out, the deal is in fact NOT DONE.

Maybe he has legitimate sources or whatever. But that claim was clearly contradictory.

I wasnt aware that visiting another teams forum and asking this valid question constituted trolling.

Its always interesting to get other fans perspective on these things, and thats why I'm visiting and reading through. Perhaps there are local beat articles posted in these things with information (we do that on our board for sure).

That's why I posted that here. In general I already kinda ignore most of the posters trolling this board right now.

i find myself in the Frank camp once again on the IHG issue. Either keep your sacred information and abide by the disclosure agreement your apparent employment dictates or just spill it. The tantalizing tidbits and then chastising for being bombarded by the inevitable questions and skepticism just looks like adolescent like attention garnering to me.

As one NBA source told me just before the press conference started, this is destined to be a drawn out experience. The Warriors are refusing to put Curry in any deal for Stoudemire, and the Suns aren’t doing it without him.

Whatever the tentative deal was before Curry was selected and the Warriors started imagining him scoring 20 a game… it’s off for now.

Now both sides can sit and wait for a while to see if the other budges.

Poker, basically.

We have been lucky enough to have some insider information on this forum board; so take it how you want. On the other hand, with all the trades that I have witnessed from here; back for the marion/shaq trade; this certain one has been the most talked about. Not just about the trade in general, but the lack of uncertainty from the GS fans. Stop doubting what has been posted here; it was posted for a reason and not to have 28 pages for $ h i t s & giggles. If you don't like what your reading, too bad. Live with it. RealGM used to have lots of good information for nba fans like us, and it still does; but slowly its becoming more and more like the ESPN boards. Childish kids that know nothing about not just basketball; but the business side as well that comes down to it.
