I don't know.... if it's just for bynum...i guess i'll consider. But that would mean a logjam at the 4/5 spot with Kevin and Al, so i'll pass on this.

I'll be here to laugh when mister rubio gets traded. I think this has lost any logical sense..now you want to keep rubio at all cost.. saying he can stay in europe 2 years.. everybody is crazy.

Imagine any other 5th pick not playing for 2 years.. that would be insane. It looks like Rubio now has Kobe BRyant type of value.

1 year we don't mind. 2 years would be somewhat disturbing. 2 years doesn't seem very likely though.

With Bynum the main issue is the contract. Plus, a face up 5 is really a better match next to Al.

Maybe I am just slow, but I see no reason why Ricky Rubio and Jonny Flynn can not be on the floor together for a majority of the game. Flynn would play PG, and Rubio combo guard. He is 6'5", and 18. I grew 2" between 18 and 20, so he could be 6'6" or taller easily. Put those two on the floor with Brewer, Love, and Big Al and watch the show. You would see some run and gun, and when that was not available, throw it in to Al and he will go to work.
The most overlooked advantage to owning a computer is that if they foul up there's no law against wacking them around a little.

his value is going nowhere but up barring a major injury?
what is so hard to understand about that?
the CBA gives us ALL THE LEVERAGE if he wants to come to the NBA,
his alternative is to SIT OUT AN ENTIRE YEAR or play in europe forever

NY has NOTHING to offer, get over it.
#1 pick - gone
chandler - sucking testes
galinari - back back &
hill - another PF
nrob & dlee - no value in a s&t when NY WONT TAKE SALARY BACK, even if they both wanted to come here and their positions didn't duplicate our 3 best non-rubio players.
Rest of team = garbage.

nash/barbosa works very nicely.

flynn/rubio can be similar, not as good outside shooting but much better defense.

As someone said in another thread, the Spurs waited for David Robinson.

It is not about size... it is characteristics of the player.. they need the ball in their hands, they are real point guards.. you just can't keep 2 real point guards on the floor.. u would diminish their efficience.

I just saw kahn talking about rubio situation and the fact they are supportive and everything.. his expression was not that happy.. He is just desperately trying to keep high the value of the kid. At the end of the day he will get traded I think, if not New york, somewhere else.

Spurs had to. You don't. I don't actually believe the mumbo-jumbo about it being ok if he doesn't come over. How many more years are you planning on developing? Kahn promised one more year, one more year until you try to make something of yourselves. And Rubio staying overseas for the next 1-2 years is not part of that plan. This is what's going to happen. Flynn is going to be moved. For an SG that isn't Wilson Chandler, and therefore doesn't suck. Rubio will play, he will play well, this shall all be forgotten and we dance.

Robinson wasn't going to play for anybody. He's was enlisting. The end. You have a choice. Move Flynn. Believe me, all of a sudden Rubio's mother isn't freezing her nips off.

Why is it suprising that we the fans, and the timberwolves organization, want fair value and good fit in a trade for ANY of our players? I just don't get it. Honestly, if someone actually comes up with a trade that makes sense, I think there would be interest. We don't need PFs, and we don't need *PGs, and we don't need trash. Clearly.

*edit: Unless Chris Paul becomes available through a miracle. That is a PG that I would want

If Rubio needed to be a top 2 pick to make the finances work he pretty much wasn't going to play for anybody. Griffin was the clear choice at 1 and Rubio said he wouldn't play for the Grizzlies.

U still have Telfair, who would probably start.. I can't imagine keeping both the young guys.. maybe you should try to ask Fegan if his client would play there if Flynn is traded.

No reason to panic and trade Rubio now...let him develop for a year and we can trade him (if at all) next year when there is cap room to work with...I am just excited to see Flynn take control of the offense and work together with Big Al and Love...anyone know how Brewer is progressing in his rehab?

The latest report said he's back on the court.
