I apologize if this has been covered, but I am tired of all the Rubio speculation and want a fresh thread.
Okay, lets assume Rubio is heading back to spain for at least 1 year. How should we proceed the rest of the offseason in order to balance out our roster and make it Rubio ready (which will also work very well with Flynn at point).
We obviously need to add front court athleticism/versatility and back court 3pt shooting. The players that do not fit going forward are Smith, Cardinal, Madsen, Gomes and Telfair. I can see holding on to Gomes and Telfair at the moment, but I think Gomes could be good trade bait at midseason for contender looking to fill out their bench (Good fit for the Cavs).
This is our rotation (again without Rubio)
Jefferson - Thomas
Love - Songalia - Stewie - Smith - Cardinal - Madsen
Brewer - Gomes
Ellington -
Flynn - Telfair - Brown

Re: Going Forward
I'd track down the UDFA SGs and SFs in the L looking for something to prove and sign a couple of them for a year. Xmas, J.Carter's been mentioned, Harris
then there's some free agents that might need a job for a year, Carney, Ross, Almond, maybe Wafer
