Yeah but he ended up being a bust. He isn't doing anything with Atlanta.

Oh yeah? Good trade for you then.

Ranked 18th by tsn. That's a bit of a drop. But if you think about it, there were a lot of reaches by other teams. I like the pick. Could be a hell of a steal.

I honestly don't like it. I think the team needed to go with a winger. At least the kid looks thrilled to be selected by the champs. But In Shero I Trust.

Good chatting with you Tim. Only wish there would have been more trades, and it would've been shorter. Oh well. Pronger got dealt.

I think 3. I don't think it's on tv though. At least here in the states.

Was at the Brewer game tonight so I haven't seen much of anything from this draft other than Tavares going to NY and Pronger getting traded. To be honest, I know so little about hockey prospects, I can't tell you my thoughts on the Hawks pick. Tomorrow I'll look into this Olsen guy some more and see what I can figure out about the guy.

But wow did Philly get schooled in that Pronger deal. Gave up a ton for a corpse.

Yes it is. If you have NHL Network CC, the draft is on that channel.

At least the Panthers got something for Bouwmeester, and a pretty good D-man for him.

As far as Olsen, pretty much fits the biggest need for the Hawks along the blue line. Pirri is an interesting pick since the Hawks just resigned Bolland yesterday.
