There was no agreement. ESPN reported that the teams were close to a deal yet
still "haggling" over the inclusion of the 7th pick. When Curry fell into the W's laps
they said all bets were off with regard to including the pick.

As fans we can only guess as to what is really said and agreed upon in a draft room.
If the Suns wanted the deal they should have made it before hand. But they didn't.
Now its dead. Deal with it and don't be bitter.

We all know the Suns wanted Curry but you just can't have him!
Good luck with your rebuilding program. I'm sure Kerr will lead you to the promised land.

your sarcasm and biting wit have hurt us immensely and we will be saddened forever because we will not be able to trade our All NBA big man for Stephen Curry.

True story.

Yet even so these are tough times to be a Phoenix sports fan.

@GSDOUBLEU Ws won't give up Curry, I'm told. Have to do the deal w/out him if they still want to do it. Suns assuredly feel doublecrossed.

@raj - i see that you have been busy on the bulls board. let me explain myself with the whole chatter between the bulls and suns. when that guy came here and said about me posting the talks between the suns and bulls and i said that the talks were for shaq, i thought he was talking about my post dated June 24th at 9:15PM:

viewtopic.php?f=27&t=917523&start=90

"there was also talk between chicago and phoenix as well today about shaq, possibly bringing brad miller. Something was going to get done no matter what with shaq today because sarver wanted him gone. Once cleveland included the pick, it was a done deal."

This was the post i was thinking about when he came and asked me, thats why i said that it was two days ago. I was not lying. why would i lie?

Before the shaq trade was even meationed i emailed TASTIC and had told him that shaq would be gone before the stupid draft. ask him yourself. I have emailed TASTIC alot more info than what i post on here, why do you think he trusts what i say on here?

I told you about amare not getting traded weeks before the last deadline, when EVERY insider said that he is gone.
I broke the news 2 days before porter got fired, at the same time when sarver and kerr said that porter job is safe.
I told you about stro.
I broke the news to TASTIC about shaq.
I broke the news about the GS trade before ANYONE said anything about amare going there.
I told you about Chandler the night before the so called "insiders" said the swap between him and wallace.

and there have been more which i can't remember right now. So i would appreciate it if you get my back when someone is being a punk.

my bad ihg; your response to the chi poster raised doubts and i didn't want to voice them here. thought it would be better if i took it to there forum where the guy actually was.

besides man, i'm vouching for you over at brightsideofthesun.com! one guy has called me out for supporting you a few times but i've told him that you're legit over and over. i've had my doubts, absolutely, and honestly will probably continue to have small ones here and there until he deal goes through, but i don't think you're making this up or anything.

I've been following these forums during the Trade Deadline and for the past week or so before the draft. So far, IHG has been dead on, usually announcing stuff hours or a days before they hit national media. I've been impressed for whatever it's worth.

Can we maybe make a sticky of the protocol we use to source check for the Suns board? Maybe administer TASTIC-Approved statuses for legit sources?

Really sick of approved people having to sift through the "hyenas," as they have been called, to update us.

IHG is under no obligation to legitimize his public claims once he's been vetted by TASTIC

If skeptics dont like that, then they can get their info elsewhere?

Would be much more civil and efficient around here...

I know it raised doubts because i was confused on which post he was talking about, when i posted the suns were on the phones for two hours we were talking about amare then. The shaq trade was done with.

cool beans man; not saying i don't value your info but you understand why i had some doubts yeah?

anyways fwiw, this was my convo w/ that dude:

______
This is the worst source
NOTHING he said yesterday came true – why are you still wasting our time with this “source”? I guess you can still posting what this guy tells you – I’ll know what not to believe

by UASun
______
me: he's the one who broke Amare to GS hours before ESPN did
so i don’t understand what the problem is…

hours before coro/yahoo/ktar as well
he broke the latest shaq deal, the stro signing…the guy’s legit

what has he said that hasn’t come true?

if anybody else has a problem with it i'll stop posting, but until then i think he's a valuable source of information
________
I'm not the post police
Write whatever you want. Here’s my point:
Just from what you cited him for yesterday -
“The Chandler for Wallace deal is done”. Woops
“The Suns are trading up to get Brandon Jennings.” Woops
“Suns and GS have signed off on the trade.” HUGE DIFFERENCE from having a plan or understanding and SIGNING OFF on the trade. That’s a bigger lie that Kerr is telliong
But that’s just evidence. As Homer Simpson said – "Facts? Pfff. You can use them to prove anything!

by UASun
________

me: he never said chandler for wallace was done iirc...show me where i posted he did and i'll agree w/ you that he was wrong
A)suns trading for brandon jennings came from hoopsworld, not from this guy
B)coro’s article indicated that suns/gs had an agreement in place, so he was right about that. you’re arguing semantics.

so your evidence is kinda shallow man

anyways, for what it’s worth, believe it or not, your choice

____

so yeah ihg i'm a supporter
