Then another link for the 38.5% new federal rate. It's pretty amazing that I can't find anything on the web.

As for city taxes, they are very limited and they are deductible as well. Fact is they don't have to pay the very expensive Minnesota taxes for their full salary.

You know what? Gen, I am putting you on ignore again.

 that is a fan website and is just totally made up. The budget was $70 million.

http://www.nytimes.com/2008/10/12/sport ... owner.html

"Olympiacos, with a $70 million operating budget"

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

But you are going to go with a fan's personal blog and fan website? Give me a break.

As if what an American newspaper said about European basketball was trustworthy at all...

You should just completely ignore what genjuro is telling you. trust me. Notice the other European fan was saying things totally different than he is? Also ballineurope.com and inthegame.org are FAN sites/FAN blogs. They are not official and have no information at all about things like club budgets. They are completely made up and don't know anything.

No you were on these forums when we had post about Pekovic. You stated that he had an extension offer for 7+ million a year and I asked if you had a link to a local spanish paper that had it in there and you would state, take my word and never gave anything to back your claim up with.

You offered a link for your $70,000,000 budget statement that is a good source. I can not argue that at all, just throwing in a jab that its the first I have seen. But you do realize that the highest spending euro team you claims entire budget is the NBA's salary cap.

Ha, ha, ha.

You're the man, dude.

Then again doing your best Houdini impersonation when it comes to prove stuff.

How much time will you have me in your ignore list this time? 5 seconds?

No it's not. NBA salary cap is way lower than that. Check Larry Coon. Olympiacos would have paid luxury tax in the NBA.

Twolves I did not mean you. You're allowed to be annoying here. The other two are the ones acting like children.

tvwolves7 posted this in another thread, and I thought it should go here to discourage all the lowball offers:

As proof, Kahn said three NBA executives called Friday to inquire about Rubio's availability. One, according to Kahn, named a player on his team who was untouchable and told Kahn to pick any other two players on the roster in exchange for Rubio's rights.

Anyone wanna bet that that team was Knicks, the untouchable player was Gallinari and the Wolves said: "no, thanks"?

Probably is the Knicks, but it shows that a player such as Barbosa alone is too low. Either way, let's be patient just like our FO is doing and see where this goes.

Personally, I think Kahn is being very smart in saying he can wait for another season or two. Kahn is doing Fegan/Rubio a favor in saying he can wait because that gives them a bargaining chip in negotiations with the spanish government to get paid. As linked below his buyout is the property of the spanish government. Their government can either negotiate to get some large sum of money or not negotiate and allow millions to slip through their fingers.

I'll take that bet.

The only team that can be rules out is the Knicks. Kahn said so himself. Plus, this story broke before the "Walsh to call Timberwolves about Rubio" story (if you call that a story)

On a sidenote: How annoying is it that anything at all that has NY in the title becomes headline news. If it was "Bird to call Wolves about Rubio," there would be no story. Problem is, in the internet age, whatever gets the most hits goes to the top. Anything with NY in it gets a lot of hits. Someone should be in charge of weeding out all the NY b.s. so as to prevent all the hysteria we had to deal with yesterday for no reason.

Am I the only one that doesn't mind trading Rubio for a good wing and roll with Flynn as our stud PG?

Exactly the point.. It is pointless to keep both. Wilson is that good wing

Rubio has too much value. He's too unique. We haven't had the opportunity to draft a player like him for 14 years (KG). I'm not waiting another 14 years. I will be very, very displeased if we trade him for anything short of Lebron, Wade, Howard, or Paul.

Vega06 I would rather not trade him but would not be apposed if there was an offer that made sense. As of right now majority of offers that people are throwing out there are laughable.
