Thank the baby Jesus. Amare may be the worst defender I have ever personally watched. I would pay a monthly stipend to keep him away from here.

thats too much to trade for us. tmac, brooks, and landry. is barbara able to hanlde the point as well as brooks? i dunno how cuz he's a sg in a pgs body, and he's 6'3 so hes not far from a sg body. we need good passers for yao to deal w/ the fronting defense, w/o brooks we're even wrose at it.

if this trade goes thru we better get a pg later in the offseason. barbara/lowry at point isnt good for houston.

I'm torn on this trade, but I think I would end up pulling the trigger. If we were to acquire Amare that would pretty much stop other teams from fronting or double teamming Yao. What are they gonna do, leave Amare down low? I have never been a fan of Barbosa but I think he would play well under RA. I hate to give up on Mac and Brooks n Landry so early. Especially Landry, but realistically, he will never be as good as Amare. Re-sign Artest and look for a backup center.

PG: Lowry, Barbosa
SG: Artest
C: Yao, Hayes, Dorsey
SF: Battier, White
PF: Stoudamire, Scola

We would have to fill some holes but I think this trade makes us a better team. If Yao goes down again, then we have Stoudamire.

GET IT DONE !!

I think that while the chances of this happening are pretty slim, they would increase slightly if we trade for or sign another PG who could start.

Lowry could start.
