Did Bobby retire, going somewhere else or resigning with us?

I think he'll latch on with a Boston, Cleveland, Orlando or Houston team.

What? Nah...where would he get minutes? We have Evans/Beno/Sergio at PG and Martin/Garcia/Evans at SG...

Disagree. I love BJax, and thats why I hope he can go to a contender for a few years and hopefully win a title.
The once he retires he can come be a assistant coach for Westphal

Sometimes you just have to look yourself in the mirror and say....Tyreke Evans.
That just happened.

Re: Bobby Jackson?
Jackson deserves a ring. Period.
One of my favorite Kings of all time. And an absolute fan favorite in Sacramento. He should try to get on a contender, he could really help them. For a 35+ year old player, he is pretty fast! haha

Re: Bobby Jackson?
I will also agree that B-Jax should play for a contender next season and compete for a ring. Orlando looks a little thin at guard after sending Alston and Lee to NJ in the Carter deal, so I think he has a great oppurtunity there to succeed. As long as he doesn't play for the Lakers, I will support whatever decision he makes.
And we should all keep our optimism high on him eventually returning to the Kings as an assistant coach somewhere down the road. I can't imagine any other franchise giving him his first gig besides us.

can we just get a new arena already...

I hadn't thought of Orlando actually, but that could be a great fit for BJax.

I'd rather see BJax playin over Beno or Sergio I thought we looked better with him last year than with beno on the court.

Re: Bobby Jackson?
No Bobby just can't mesh with this young group. He just doesn't fit. I wasn't impressed with his leadership last year either. I am a Bobby fan but if we're being realistic he just didn't have a good year and I think he needs to move on. The effort was always there I just didn't see the chemistry.

Re: Bobby Jackson?
Yeah Bobby tried to play the fatherly role with some of the youngins' last season but I don't think he had the patience with some of the kids' maturity level...(see Donte Greene). At this point of his career, he really shouldn't have to take on the responsibility anyways. If the guy had won a title already, then he can afford to spend his last year or two doing that.

Re: Bobby Jackson?
It is going to come down to if he thinks that he can hold up for another nba season. He has definitely lost a step, but if another team is willing to give him a roster spot and he wants to play, he will be in the nba next year.
15% chance he stays with the kings though- we just kind of ousted him from our roster.

I do agree that he should be on a contender, but part of me enjoys watching him play so much that I want him to stay a king. I do think that he would be a good fit for the magic, and that would work out for us as well they will be on tv constantly next year. So we could still watch him, or there is always the league pass option...
