Not a Jazz nor a Cle fan. This is not a rumor, just me with an idea. Dont know much about the contract situations of each player, let me know what you think.

Cle sends:

Ilgauskas
D. West
Hickson

Receives:
Andrei Kirilenko

Utah Sends
Kirilenko

Receives:

Ilgauskas
D. West
Hickson

Why does Cle does this:

Best defense period. Have Andrei coming off the bench or starting at the three with LeBron at SG. No one could guard this line up.

Why does Utah does it:

They get out of AK contract, while Z is on his last year and Delonte only has two, plus he is a really good player. Hickson is a pretty good young player. Milsap is a free agent.

That's not too bad of a deal. I kinda like Hickson. But it would totally depend on how Millsap/Boozer plays out. I'd hate to lose Andrie. Overall....maybe. Not horrible, but not great either.

West is short...and we nust have a good defender in SG...I don't want to see Williams on the SG...

Ilgauskas has a player option for this upcoming year (~11M) that I'm assuming he exercises. If I'm the Jazz I'd definitely do this deal and then look to trade Delonte West.

Cavs won't jeopardize their chances of bringing a FA like Bosh or Wade in 2010 to play with Lebron by taking on AK's salary. No chance they do this.

Hell no! I hate the Cavs, and those players are garbage. I would rather have a crybaby than have Cleveland's scrubs sent our way.

We don't need a center, but I think I might still do it. It might be better in a three way though, send Z and Hickson to Phoenix and give us Jason Richardson.

Edit: I don't see why the Cavs do this though.

J-Rich's contract is almost as bad as AK's at 2 years and $28M. Don't see why the Jazz would want that. The main reason I like the original deal is the financial flexibility. If you swap AK for J-Rich you don't get that.
