Talks have completely ended this afternoon on the once "verbally agreed" trade that was done before the draft. The suns told GS to pick Jordan Hill with the 7th pick. Even though GS picked Curry they still felt that he belonged part of the deal. It wouldn’t have mattered who GS picked with the 7th pick, it was part of the deal. This is also my last (serious this time) post on this site.

Take care everyone.

I'm sure there are other "talks" of a amre trade that will surface in the next 30 days.

We'll be fine without your average players. We still have two all stars on our roster. Unfortunately all you have is "potential".

it's ok, the warriors haven't been as good as the suns have the past 5 years so who cares? we've had a better time. this season the suns will still be better than the warriors, too. so who cares?
The Phoenix Suns - 54-28. Projected Record: 54-28 3rd Seed

The Phoenix Suns - 2010-2011 Projected Record: 30-52 3rd lottery pick.

Last I checked, both teams were chilling in Seacaucus NJ during the playoffs - and you had 3 all-stars then.

So a little less of the "holier than thou" if you don't mind.

Again, I didn't see any analyst who commented on the proposed trade that didn't say that it wasn't lopsided in the Suns favor with Curry (never mind Randolph) included. Same as they said it was loopsided in the Warriors favor without them.

If talks have ended (and i don't beleive they have - no disrespect to your source) it was become there couldn't be a medium found

lol we know the warriors arebad, but thats irrelevant right now. suns aint getting curry/randolph and they will not get a better offer than biedrins/wright/belinelli/buke...dont be surprised they go to raptor and ignite bosh talks. they have more of a need for those warriors guards that could interest them

Kind of interesting that only Suns sources seem to be reporting a deal was in place. All reports that day was the 7 pick was still being haggled over when the draft began.

I took a lot of heat when I reported this last night from IHG, members of the Suns board, and members of the W's board...turns out the information was 100% correct...

Return to Phoenix Suns
