OT : Posters Waived

Post#1 » by Kerrsed » Sun Jun 28, 2009 11:49 pm

When posters are waived, does that include an IP ban or just an account banned? Im hoping IHG can come back as ihateKhoee. THAT would be EPIC! But i really would like to know.

I don't think he should have been banned. He really didn't do anything.

Once you're cut that's it. People try and come back using different names and going through proxys but they always get caught somehow

Shame really...

I think he wanted to leave permanently. A few days ago he was asking in the support forum how he could delete his account.

As far as I'm concerned I have no reason to not believe him...He had been on about other Suns' moves during the season so even though he snapped a bit all Suns related stuff I would still consider believable...we'll see

The whole situation got out of hand to be honest

This pisses me off man. I come online and the guy is banned because of some punks that kept poking and prodding him?

What a shame.

he deserved to be banned in my opinion. He enjoyed the attention as long as people were cooing and raving about him and couldn't deal with any sort of questions or skepticism to the point of imploding like a12 year old kid. He wrote his own check.

What a shame.

lets hold persons accountable for their own behavior, it will make things simpler going forward.

i think realgm lets banned posters return under other names even if they are hip to the maneuver, if the previously banned poster seems to have learned their lesson.

anyway realgm is like the irs. they couldnt catch everyone if they wanted to- too many people.

It's a shame it ended that way, but it's no excuse for what he posted. If he has an issue with a poster then he needs to contact a mod and let us do our 'work'. But he went on a crazy rant and abused people which can't happen on a public forum.

He has my email and I'll continue to talk to him if he's open to it. There are ways to handle things and that most definitely wasn't the way to handle the situation - it's the internet, sure, but not the way to handle it.

Who's to say. Be easy for me to tell you I would act differently and i think i would have. But it's not going to happen so there's no reason to debate it.

The point is he came here with some obvious inside information, not many are debating that. He used it to get attention, which he liked.. he dangled it to a bunch of people starving for it and they ate it up. some people didn't like his information or he the information changed or was incomplete and they questioned him on it which is inevitable and he should have expected it. He transformed immediately into a tantrum throwing adolescent like raving lunatic threatening repeatedly to take his ball and go home if people didn't play his game by his rules. Then intentionally tried to get banned due to his inability to use some self discipline and actually leave like he threatened to. If i acted like that in similar circumstances I'd deserve to be banned too.

its awesome how that response in itself suggests ironically how you would have handled the situation.
