He's been doing a good job with it. The big problem is they've gone PG. Had this feud happened 10 years ago it could've been real hot. Because Punk could've brought up all of Jeff's demons and contrasted that with his purported straight edge lifestyle in a 'I'm better than you' sort of angle. But that doesn't look like it'll happen.

Off-topic, the Miz/Cena match was a booking disaster. To have Cena make quick work of the Miz kills any sort of momentum the Miz may have had. They really should've had the Miz winning not cleanly. Whether it was via foot on the ropes, grabbing the tights, interference by the big show etc. But to have it be a dominant Cena win just kills the Miz.

Exactly. I didn't get that result at all.

Although it would've been preferrable for Miz to have won the match last night, tonight'd match should've happened last night. Atleast tonight Miz got some offense in and atleast looked like he belonged in the same ring as Cena

And don't make him tap out two nights in a row. That's what jobbers do.

I was actually marking out a little for Miz tonight. You knew he wasn't going to win, but at least don't have him tap out.

I was much more dissapointed by the other match, MVP vs HHH. I knew it was highly unlikely but I thought there was a slight chance MVP might win. I thought that when MVP dropped the US title to Kofi I thought a call-up to the main event was in order. But now it looks like he's stuck in no man's land, although I could definitely see him being shipped off to Smackdown or ECW.

Edit: nix that, I just saw who was involved with the trades and MVP was not on the list. Seeing this list its become abundantly clear that the WWE views ECW as just 1 notch above FCW. The moment a guy on that show gets even remotely over, they get sent to one of the other brands.

Looks like they're using ECW as a sort of a minor league system. I don't really have a problem with that.

^^^ I kinda do. I'm glad that it looks like Shelton Benjamin will finally get a Main Event push even if it is just on ECW.

I think most of those who switch brands should be fine. I think everyone moving to Smackdown should be fine. I think among those going to ECW, Goldust will be the ocassional comic relief, Regal will be fine, like I said Benjamin should finally get a main event push and I could care less what happens to the Bella girls. Among those moving to Raw, Gail Kim and Jack Swagger should be fine. I think making Swagger the 4th member of Legacy would be a smart move. I could care less what happens to Alicia Fox or Mark Henry although it looks like Henry could be in line for a decent face push based on last night. The person I am concerned about is Evan Bourne, I could definitely see him getting completely buried on Raw and I think he should've stayed on ECW a bit longer.
