REALY?! AJ PRICE!?

I really expected Larry to go for a big guy in the 2nd round, with Murphy nearing the end of his contract, and Foster nearing retirement.
But i really do think the drafting of Price means that something could be in the works, involving our pg's. It might mean we're really shopping Ford, we're not gonna re-sign Jack, or Diener's gonna be involved in a trade as a filler.
To play 4 pg's in rotation would be a complete nonsense, so i assume Larry's got a reason for picking Price instead of Heytvelt, Nivins, and Aminu.
I really do think Price could be one of the best sleepers of this year's draft. His ACL injury was probably the thing which caused him to slip that far.
Offensively, Price could be better than Mills. He's got legit range and he's a better playmaker too.

Well I don't know anything about AJ Price, and frankly, i try not to spend time worrying about 2nd round picks. James White and Stanko Barac taught me well. Good luck to him, I hope he turns out to be a steal. But do I know either way if he will? Not at all.

I'd have rather taken Patty Mills, but yeah, I don't invest heavily into 2nd round picks. Just ain't worth it.

I think he has a chance to make the team, but don't think he will since Diener is coming back. Maybe Bird thought Price had the best chance to be an Arenas type of player, meaning he has the highest ceiling, I don't know. But who does know?
