Milsap Or Boozer

If Milsap get a 10 million dollar offer in free agency. Who would you rather resign Boozer or MIlsap. I assume the jazz could only keep one of these players.

I go with Milsap at $10 Mil, but anything over that I let them both walk. No way I'm paying Boozer even $13 mil/year. Boozer has maxed out on his skill set, and is only going to get more injury prone as he ages. I don't like his lack of heart and desire as well. It's not coincidence to me that Karl and John played in so many games and had the heart, desire, and attitude they did.
Boozer is a hell of a player, but the problem is he can't stay healthy. I think his lack of heart plays a major factor.

Neither. Booz doesn't want to be here and Millsap is too small and not good enough to be a full time starter. It would be painful, but the best thing to do is let them both go. If you can get assets in return, great, if not, then just walk away. I'm terrified that the Jazz are going to resign Millsap for 5 years $50 mil, because he's the kind of player that looks great for 20 minutes and then looks awful for 40.

Neither. Milsap is great, but I to am afraid that the jazz will overpay for him.

I know the Thunder are keeping a close eye on the situation.

I would let both walk and play AK-47 at PF, resign Memo, but I would hope jazz can pull off a sign a trade with either or both Millsap and/or Boozer to get starting SF/SG. Again, assuming Millsap offered $10 mil.

Agreed. Millsap is fine in the $6-$7 mil range annually, but he's going to be offered more than that. Boozer is even fine up to $12-$13 mil a year if he's healthy, but there isn't a strong indication that he's going to be healthy all the time.

I think that the Jazz may be better off letting them both go, unless they can get either or both for relatively cheap.

If I have to choose only one of Millsap, Boozer, Okur, I'd certainly would keep Okur. I think most Jazz fans tend to underestimate Okur's contributions to the Jazz team... he really is a clutch guy, a hell of a character, and I want him on my team. If the chance is there to keep 2 of them, Millsap's the other keeper.
Make no mistake... Millsap and Okur are far more respected players in rivals view... they just don't respect Boozer anymore... everybody knows he's a stat filler, not a game winner....
The other thing I think Jazz fans tend to underestimate is how much can Koufos impact our PF spot; dude has game.

I'm a LAL fan, but I would have traded both if I was the Jazz GM. Both are good offensive players, Boozer is really good offensively, neither can play much D, neither is shot blocker, both are undersized (Milsap 6-8) Boozer doesn't play big no hops.

Now they are what both FA?.

Let 'em walk, it's too late to trade them unless you sign and trade, right?. Go after Bosh or Amare.

Then get a center that can board and play defense.

I don't much care for Okur either, because he runs around the three point line, and kills boards and defense. If you got a PF that can play D Okur's liability on D wouldn't hurt as bad obviously.

If I had to pick one, I'd take Milsap, he'd be cheaper, he's younger, he's not broken, he has upside, and he's not a bitch like Boozer, always whining about testing the market, or looking for more cash.

Sorry Laker fan, we don't have a killer like Kwame Brown that we can trade for Pau Gasol. For some reason it just doesn't work that way in Utah.

By the way it's obviously you watch very little Jazz basketball.

Well, he's right in his last paragraph. That plus Milsap's defense is what puts him above Boozer. Sure, he might not score 20 PPG, but he has every other intangible that Boozer doesn't.
