I rather do the Amare/Barbosa deal and we might get back into it because of the GS's reluctance to deal Curry

Why does Morey want Rubio so bad to give up our best defender and starting point? If this was really offered I say Morey has some other trades planned out...

Tmac for Prince/Rip???

why do we want to trade 2 of our elite players for a rookie pg that may not play this season

I think that question was just answered :(

If we trade for him, he better get his ass over here and play.

Yeah...looks like Morey wanted to build the team around Rubio?

I think Rubio would of been a great 1st piece in a franchise rebuild project.

So in other words, Battier + Brooks is a worse package than Foye + Miller? What do you think?

I don't remember the last time i was this enamored by a young PG. I was sold the moment i watched him play in the Olympics.(i've seen Spain play multiple times now) Maybe its the hair....

When was the last time a player with this much BBIQ turned out to be a Bust? It may take him a few years but he gonna be legit.

Shaun Livingston turned out to be a bust, another guy with great vision and a shaky jumpshot but was derailed with injuries.

That's because he got hurt and an even bigger reason was the coaching staff. When was the last the Clippers made good decision. Think about all the good players that have gone on to do bigger things AFTER leaving L.A Clippers.

I absolutely dislike the Clippers. Seriously you must not know much about Shaun Livingston's career and injury to make such a ludicrous comment.

Ludicrous comment? I follow the Clippers all the time, Livingston had a devasting injury but was a backup player at the time of his knee injury. He was down with assorted injuries throughout his career prior to that and some blame may be due to the coaching staff, but he wasn't close to being worthy of a top 4 draft pick before he blew out his knee. If you dislike the Clippers that's fine, but Livingston couldn't even hold off 36-37 year old Sam Cassell and start. Just pointing out the facts, most Clipper fans would agree.

Also, name me one player who has gone on to play in an all star game after leaving the Clippers.

Quentin Richardson and Marko Jaric, in the sense that one dated Brandi and the other married Adriana Lima.

In a non-BS sort of way, Danny Manning missed it by a month in 93-94, and uhhhhh...... JAMES DONALDSON IN 87-88! Booyah! (that took a bit of searching...)

Also, how do I know who Lancaster Gordon is???

Sorry bro..nobody in this years' draft is that caliber of player. If we are trying to get Rubio its not to build around him...its to add him to a core group of players. There would definitely have to be 1 or 2 better players than him on a team for it to be successful.

Good show moofs, your answer is correct, this was a trivia question on a broadcast by Ralph Lawler last season. Lancaster Gordon #8 pick in the lottery out of Louisville in 1984, about as good of a lottery pick as Bo Kimble. LOL.

LOL...I can pretty much guess that this was probably true. If you go back and listen to Morey in his post draft conference, he said this when ask about possible trade

"Look at the teams and couple of teams picked multiple, multiple players at the same position. So it's natural to expect, you know, they're probably either close to or working on a trade."

I get why Brooks was included, but it puzzles me why Battier was. Thought Landry would be perfect, since Ryan Gomes is potentially their starting PF.
