Same with Beethoven, Prokofiev and a few others of the classical school. No tough talk needed. Most big names that came before us were big because of the weight that they and their music carried, not because of some lame "schtick" marketing ploy or fake image.

Kanye West?! What deranged tool signed this tone deaf piece of crap? The poor bastard can't even hold a note, and his arrangements are lame and unimaginative at best.

There is a myriad of great unheard and unreleased music. There must be a music revolution just around the corner — one that will let it all flow freely.

I suppose it just depends on your tastes. In terms of creativy and originality, I'd put the earlier works of Public Enemy and the Wu-Tang Clan up against anything that's ever been committed to record. Truly ground-breaking stuff. But, if you don't like it, you don't like it. For example I've never been much of a Beatles man, even though I fully recognize their place in music history.

ST,

I have to check them out. Didn't mean to say I don't like them, just never listened to them. Thanks for the recommendation.

Sorry to hear that Ty. You know the routine:

1-don't slum around the pad drinking yourself sadder
2-get a workout plan going to improve health and make yourself feel better
3-enjoy the freedom that comes along with it from late nights to staring at the slightest hint of a hot girls bikini camel toe
4-don't bother trying to replace her anytime too soon, you'll only do the over comparison thing.
5-post on comm thread about travel, beer, burgers, and your newfound love for yoga class.

Hermes- what were you doing up there?

Didin't wanna make a new thread out of it, and maybe it has been posted somewhere else, but what do you think about this idea of black jerseys?
Maybe it's just a rumor or something, but I think they would look SICK!
