How in the F did Lawson fall that far #1, he could be the best PG in the draft, he to me seems like a better pick than Flynn or Rubio (Wow I think Rubio is so overrated) brilliant passer, that's all I see in him. Shi* the LAL got the Chinese Magic, Sun Yue, a near carbon copy, nearly as good a passer 2nd round for less than 1 mil a year and now he's a FA. The only PG I would say is possibly better is T Evans @ #4, but how much of a distributor is he going to be, he plays a lot like a 2 guard it appears.

I hate to say it, but congrats DEN, you just got a gamebreaker. Dealing with a big physical PG like Billips who plays a heady game to the NCAA Champion Lawson that changes DEN dynamic, you guys just got a lot more dangerous, and you were already the most dangerous team in the playoffs.

Honestly no one seems to give a crap or agree with me, I don't get it. The world will know next year that is for sure. Congrats DEN. ($@#!^%!!!)

Weems is waiting for his opportunity, and I think Balkman, if he isn't traded, could give Denver what Jones did in a similar role. I'd rather see the money used to resign Jones go towards a big man or a guy that can knock down the outside shot and spread the floor.

While I agree on the bigman, my question is how much will be going to Jones. If it is the minimum then bring him back as the money has to go to someone and we know what we will get with him.

I agree Balkman could replace what Jones brings, however for some reason Karl does not seem to like Balkman, and the team as a whole seems to view him as a undersized PF. So I do not think we will see him in that role, if anything we may see Balkman in more of a Najera type role.

The good news however is that Lawson was a pretty good outside shooter at UNC, so he should help spread the floor a little, but I agree the more shooters we can get the better off we are.

I agree, that is why I said he wouldn't be a bad contract if he is resigned. I know he wants more than a one year deal, and I am not sure I would do that if I were apart of the Nuggets front office, but I am not apart of it and just giving my thoughts on the situation

Laker fan here as well. Ty Lawson was the absolute steal of the draft. Congrats to the Nuggets. You guys will be contending for the #1 or #2 spot in the West. Oh yea, I would rather see Melo win a ring than LeBron.
