That would be great to have him.

But yeah, that's what I read. In a related note, latest RGM onthe Amar'e situationis why not deal with CHI as they can send back $12 million in expiring (Thomas and the other guy, James ?) and TT

I don't think Ariza's worth more than the full MLE, and that's pushing it. $8-9mil? Why not just give him the max? We could do a sign & trade with Amare.

I dont understand all of the Nash hating around here. He has his defensive limitations but the guy is still elite. I'd rather keep him around as much as possible, we already have an understudy in Dragic. I think extending Nash is the right thing to do. With more defensive minded players Nashs defensive weaknesses would be covered to a large extent. And Nash is a leader. I just dont get it. I'd rather have Nash than Amare

Extending is fine, but not extending at a raise, like he seems to want.

I'd rather have Azibuki from the Warriors than Ariza. He's a better shooter and a good defender. Not as good of a defender because he's not as long as Ariza, but I like him in that kind of role for us.

Amazing how long the effects of a bad move can last, huh? What's funny iis that early on Banks was folded into the 2003 deal that sent Kendrick Perkins to Boston.
Has anyone outside of D'Antoni and the Jerry West ever actually *wanted* Banks? He just seems to have made a career of being the other set of luggage in deals.
