What if Memo & Millsap leave?

Post#1 » by HolyToledo » Tue Jun 30, 2009 11:03 pm

Jazz would have Kosta or Fess as a starting center with Boozer at PF and AK-47 SF or possibly start Boozer as an undersized center with AK-47 at PF and Miles at SF neither scenario that good.

Jazz could trade with N.O. for Chandler but he has 2 years on his contract. N.O. does this as it is easier to trade an expiring contract then one with 2 years left.

Jazz simply have to keep Memo. Let Millsap walk and try to unload Boozer. How about this lineup.

PG Williams Maynor
SG Brewer Miles Korver
C Chandler Kosta Fess
PF Memo Kosta Ak-47
SF Ak-47 Korver Harpring

This entire mess would have been solved it Jazz never resigned Harpring, trade for Korver, and matched Miles offer. The AK-47 contract was and is an albatross.
Top 4 seed in the West!!! Guaranteed!!!

As I mentioned in another thread just a minute ago, the Jazz could also keep Millsap, let Okur go and shop Boozer for a big.

If the Jazz really don't want Boozer he is VERY tradeable.
