This receiving corp which I believe was ranked something like 28 or 29 by Scouts Inc. seems to be just a little better than the experts predicted. We all laughed at that and rightfully so.

No kidding. I've missed Jennings big time and I think obviously the rest of the team has, too. Jones has been good, no doubt, but it doesn't hurt to have 3 good ones :)

Driver, BTW, was also awesome today.

I was glad to see Jennings back and better yet that he received the tie TD for Marino's record for Favre!

At this point, if Koren Robinson can give us anything, we'll have 5 very capable recievers to go along with a surprisingly productive tight end duo.

Was it me, or was Bubba running better than he has in years today? Even though he had some drops, I thought he looked good.

We missed his speed as much as anything.I love the Jones kid,but i question if he has the burst to split those defenders and take it to the house like Jennings did.If that was Martin,it's a 8-9 yard slant and he's dragged down.

Obviously McCarthy is building alot of the offense around the short pass and then run after the catch.Guys need some burst to be able to turn a short pass into a long play, both Jennings/Driver can turn any slant into a huge play.We saw that multiple times today.Remove either guy and the WR core loses a sizable chunk of big play ability because Martin becomes the #3 and he has almost zero run after the catch ability.

Bubba did look very good today. I agree on Robinson....

I like our WR core and depth...

I can't be the only one who was a little suprised about the speedburst Jennings had coming out of that route. It looked like he got shot out of a gun. I guess I don't really remember Jennings getting behind the corners last year, suprised by the speed, hopefully this will give Big Mike some ideas...

4.41 forty yard dash and known as a legit deep threat before the draft.

Given that he had a 75 yard touchdown catch last year where he got to display his speed, I'm certainly not surprised at all. In fact, it's what I was expecting with Jennings back, as someone else mentioned.

EDIT: Meant to say catch. Don't know why I typed run.
