Am I missing a report that says Jefferson could/should be healthy for the start of the season? I last heard mid-season.

Last report was that Jefferson was WAY ahead of schedule and would begin basketball activities in August, and should be ready by training camp.

2010 will be Al's year. This year he will be recovering from ACL and will have a rookie PG. 2010 will be a year of big improvement for this team. I just feel it.

Yeah, after Rubio grows to 6'6, and gets up to 200 lbs and starts dominating the Kobe's and Lebrons, and Flynn becomes Chris Paul 2 and Kevin Love grows 3 inches to 7'1, while added 80 pounds of pure muscle to become shaq 2 :D :D I can hope..

Yeah, I think the belief is that even though Jefferson will likely be ready by the start of the season, it might take him a little bit to really get his feel and confidence back. Apparently he's in great shape right now though. Quite frequently people coming back from an ACL injury come back stronger due to the dedication needed in rehab.

I'm sure Al will come back beastly as ever, and hopefully he'll be working on his defense and passing once his knee is back to atleast 75%

I could see Rubio growing more, Love could too, they are both still very young. I grew abourt 3in from age 20-23. I'm afraid Bynum already has claim to the name Shaq2 (BabyShaq and AussieShaq also have claims on them too I think) VanillaShaq sounds better, and politically correct.

:D VanillaShaq is a nice one. I hope we open up the offense and work Love in some possesions on the high post, and think he could really develop into Brad Miller in his prime, except better rebounder and defender. Something like 14-12-5 and some pretty decent defense seems reachable, especially if we add a shooter, or someone who excels in moving without the ball like Peja and Bibby in the kings days.

Yao won't get any votes if he isn't on the ballot.

just browsing the all-star rules. every player to appear on an NBA roster is elligable to receive an All-star vote. those not appearing on the actual ballot are subject to "write-in votes" (the online thinger is a scrolling bar not a write in now if i am not mistaken) so even if he doesn't have a clicky bubble, i'm sure China can and will write him and Yi in.
