so the wiretap headline reads "Coach K: I will never coach the Lakers"

Mike Krzyzewski has been linked to the Lakers head coaching job multiple times since 204 and again denied the possibility on Tuesday.

"I'm not going to the Lakers. They have one of the great coaches in the game," Krzyzewski said. "I don't know where that rumor started, but there has been nothing done like that, and I'm not leaving Duke. Whatever you hear about anything like that, I will never leave Duke until I leave coaching."

ahahaha. pretty much everyone in the u.s. hates the lakers besides us fans in la. i remember reading an article about kobe bryant thinking about opting it.

The ESPN headline said something like "Kobe contemplating off-season plans" while the RealGM Wiretap said "Kobe wants more money, thinking about opting out"

What are you talking about? Have you ever watched a Laker road game? Laker fans are deep in ever city. Look in the stands and notice all the Laker jerseys. Lakers = Americas Team.

Funny how all those jerseys disappear when we're not winning. I sure didn't see a lot of jerseys during the Smush Parker/Kwame Brown years. Bandwagon fans who live in other cities who only come out when we win are not true fans. Lmao. Lakers are definitely not America's team. The chant is "Beat LA" for a reason. Everyone hates the Lakers cause we're perennial contenders and consistent winners.
