Raúl López didn´t renew with Real Madrid and now is free. His rights in the Nba belongs to Memphis.
In my opinion he would be a great reserve point guard, Memphis should try to sign him, although he have an offert from Khimky (Garbajosa and Delfino's team) of Russian league.
Sorry for my English ;)

Lopez didn't cut the the mustard during his days in the NBA. He may tryout for another overseas team, but as far as I know, I doubt the Grizz may be lookin his way at this point.

I didn´t remember that the Grizzlies had his rights !

Lopez had two injury plagued seasons in Utah but he showed great play in spurts. If he wanted to come back to the NBA for a short contract I would be all for it, he is a solid veteran with international experience and a leader mentallity.

I wouldn´t mind to have him as my team backup pg.

Lopez sucked.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."
