TI: What does everyone think?

Flip Wallace for Chandler like we all know should and hopefully will happen, and sign Skinner to a vet min + call it a offseason.

We would be left with:

Nash/Lowry/Barry
Brewer/Barbosa/Barry
Clark/Dudley/TMAC?
Millsap/Amundson/Dudley
Chandler/Lopez/Skinner

Send Dragic to DLEAGUE all season barring injuries. I really like the potential of that team. Core of Barbs/Clark/Millsap/Chandler. We don't have a star scorer, but we have amazing team play. What does everyone think?

What thread, the one on the Trade Board? Because everyone on here doesn't visit it that often; And yes, it is. I asked him for permission to use it, if that's where you were going with it.

Yeah I dig the trade. That is a very solid defensive starting lineup as well. Other than Nash, the other four guys have a defensive mindset.

Stat doesn't want to play the C, meaning Boozer would have to. I'm not sure how well that would work out. But with a line up for Williams/JRich/Boozer/STAT, they should make a lot of noise in the West.

Not sure about where Houston wants to go right now, so I can't really comment on their incoming and outgoing players. Only problem with the Rockets is that with Okur opting out, it means it would be a S&T for him to be on their roster. I don't think they want to have another C with a long term contract with Yao's huge contract still sitting. It's most likely they'll move some pieces around and bring in a decent and cheap C to hold down the fort till Yao gets back. If they are to restructure, it'll be better for them to keep TMac.

Okur opted in, that's the only way a trade can work. He's going to be a UTAH JAZZ unless he gets traded.

Man sd I might be alone but I hate that deal

You can't tell me that deal makes us better than one where we keep current pieces and move Wallace for Chandler, Kaman or Camby...

My bad, haven't been up to date with the Jazz roster. In this case, it'll make sense for Utah since Yao and Okur would both expire after next season. I'd probably keep Brewer instead of moving for JRich though, I think Brewer is an excellent role player and defender and comes at a great price.

I'd much rather trade Richardson for Kirilenko and a 1st round pick. Trade for Chandler, pick up a shooting guard like Artest or Ariza and that leaves.

Nash,Dragic
Artest or Ariza/Barbosa
Kirilenko/Hill/Dudley
Amare/Lou/Clark
Chandler/Lopez

That lineup would contend for a title. No point in blowing up the team when we can be really good by just making some smart moves.
